Esteemed Mr. McKinley,

In regards to the new orders regarding Tau 31 and the deployment of heavier craft in the region the technology and grants department sees the chance to field test a unit we have been working on recently, namely the HMS Victoria.
Shes a lendlease Liberty Battlecruiser retrofitted with experimental weaponry to improve its direct combat abilites against heavier craft. Since the Battlecruiser in the region will most certainly be the main mean for our own forces to fend off capital vessels I think the Victoria is predestined for this role.
If you are interested I will order the ship to move out to Newcastle tomorrow where she will be integrated into your fleet for the time beeing.
Of course the crew will party consist of T&G personel to monitor and assure the performance of the ships systems. First tests have shown no reliability issues worth mentioning but better be safe than sorry.
I await your answer.

yours sincerely
Sir Jacob McIntire
