First and foremost, i would like, to apologize for my absence of late. As many of you Gaians have known, I have flown with you on several occasions in support of your operations against Gallia, but as of late I have been absence from the area. My actions angered some and irritated others and I was recalled back to Crete for discipline. Luckily, I only received a relatively light discipline.

For my troubles I've been charged by the elders to assist in expanding smuggling shipments into Kusari to counter the decrease in Hogosha and Farmer activity in the region. This is basically a way to keep me far away from the war and out of trouble, but there are those who share my distrust and concern about the Gallics and I have been given a potential golden opportunity in the form of Tau 31 and 29 and also problems.

To the point: I've heard rumors of a Gaian base in Tau 31. I am asking what supplies if any would that base require? Several of my routes take me though the area cutting back into Bretonia making a stop in Tau 31 entirely doable and potentially beneficial to all involved. Also, I humbly request docking privileges and permission for small combat craft to be staged at the base. I am willing to compensate the Gaian Gaurd for my combat crafts quarters, fuel, and etc.

Also, myself and my escort security forces are bared from engaging in the war, but no Corsair, not even the most skittish of the Elders would ever have a word to say against piracy... Especially in the Taus. Even if I land myself in hot water again, I still would be able to target all the Kusari and Rhienlander ships that pass though the area.

At this stage its just an idea. The logistics and certain politics need to be sussed out, navigated, and dealt with. That being said: with your help I just maybe be able to turn my idea into a full blown operation. I hope that we can come to an arrangement and look forward to hearing from you.

Although the Guard appreciates your assistance in the war, as limited as it might be, it does little to clear out a few doubts. You are sympathetic to us, yes, and perhaps there are a few sympathetic souls within the Empire as well, but ultimately, the Corsairs have largery refused involvement or actively fought against us. It was not the case with the Brotherhood, luckily enough, but given our past experiences with your current leadership, we have reasons to be worried. To spare you an elaborate speech:

What is our assurance we would not find a Warwolf bearing down on us? What is our assurance that, knowingly or not, you are not a mere trojan horse?
