'Ola....

I will be blunt and to the point. Relations between the Corsairs Brotherhood and the Crayter Republic could be better... a lot better. I believe that should change in light of our paths potentially crossing in Tau 31 or Tau 29 in the near future.

I totally understand if you tell me to go pound sand, but it is my hope that you all are interested in talking at least.

Best regards,

Delfina "The Black Sails" Flores

Ms. Flores,

thank you for your message. The Republic has always tried to maintain good relations with the Brotherhood and the Corsairs in general. So I dont see any reason why this should change. We will gladly discuss potential cooperations.

If you allow the question: What has sparked your interest in the Tau region?

Regards

Thank you for your reply.

Officially: Primarily our interest in Tau 31 and Tau 29 is as a route from Kusari to Bretonia. Recently there have been potential business opportunities that have piqued our curiosity in the Kusari region. If these opportunities pan out then naturally there would some trade traffic and along with appropriate security escorts through the region. Perhaps, annoy the Outcasts along the way for some amusement. To some trading through a warzone may seem insane and daunting, but for us... its another Tuesday so to speak.

Unofficially, many of us have never been fond of the Gauls. I myself, had my hand slapped for assisting the Gaians on multiple occasions spacing Gallic ships in the Cambridge system. While the Elders frown upon and forbid us from getting involved in the ensuing conflict in Bretonia, they don't particularly care who we pirate... for the most part. Myself and several members of our Furiosa bomber wing have quite enjoyed targeting and instilling fear in the Gallic ships that dare to come to Rhienland thinking its safe. Many of us want to do the same to the Gallic trade inside Kusari. Logistics willing, the same in Tau 31 and Tau 29... maybe even in Bretonia... *laughs* Probably not Bretonia... but one can hope.

Why you ask? Whats changed?

Well the name of Edinburgh. Honestly it took something relatively minor, but pretty major to the Gaians one assumes, like that to wake many of my comrades up to the threat the Gauls pose to our allies the Gaians and even to ourselves. So far this is just backroom talk among those concerned, without the logistics lining up right, without allied support this will just stay talk among those concerned. Even then we'd need at least some sort of official nod of approval seeing as an escalation of attacks and piracy against Gallic ships is bound to cause quit the storm diplomatically.

As I said; this is all in the planning stages. Nothing is set in stone or decided. I'm a planner and I plan ahead. I plan for the future. And even if nothing comes of our plans... even if our hands remain tied by politics; good relations are good relations. And its always worth while to have someone else to trade with at the very least.

Best regards,

Delfina "The Black Sails" Flores

Ms. Flores,

as long as your escorts do not pose a danger to our and allied ships, which is mainly the Council, the Order and the Blood Dragons in the region, there will be no issues and you can be assured that we will not hinder your operations within the Taus.

If said operations tend to weaken our enemies, then we might even manage to offer you a certain amount of shelter on our bases. Additionally, if you happen to come across Gallic civilian vessels that somehow exploded or otherwise lost their cargo in the giant voids of space, then we will gladly figure out a solution to make use of the business opportunity, generated by such an unfortunate accident. The same goes for ships belonging to the Independent Miners Guild, which has lately degenerated to a Gallic lapdog, causing us quite a number of problems.

You certainly will be welcome.
