As you are no doubt aware, Daumann has been contracted to undertake repairs to the Elbe-Class Carrier RWK-Soltau. I am pleased to inform you that initial goods shipments have been completed - however, critical heavy components still await delivery, before repairs may begin in earnest. Unfortunately, the required route from Cologne to Hamburg contains some inherent risks which could pose a danger to the convoy.

The intended route will take the convoy from Heisenberg via Wuppertal, before making the run to the Hamburg wormhole in sector 3G. My chief of security informs me that while recent Unioner activity poses reduced risk to the convoy, the convoy will nonetheless have to travel a significant distance through open space, traverse several astrological anomalies and asteroid fields, far away from the safety of regular patrols, trade lanes or nearby bases. Although I am assured of the security of the operation within Daumann, elements of the shipment are passing through civilian stations outside of our control - I am therefore conscious of the additional risk of information about the convoy getting out.


Given the critical nature of the shipments, I am certain you can see why I at this stage turn to our gallant defenders in the military and polizei to request an escort for these vessels while they make their run. We anticipate that work on the components will be complete and the convoy will be assembled within a week. I eagerly await your replies.
