Opening of Register to File Contributions to the BAF Discretionary Budget


To all members of the Bretonian Armed Forces Merchant Navy, and patriotic citizens and entities of Bretonia.

The BAF is principly funded by her majesties government, receiving funds to support its fleets and pay its wages. However, outside of the scope of this yearly budget, the admiralty funds extra activities that require funds to be made possible. The Merchant Navy contributes trading profits to fund these activities, but on occasion patriotic benefactors, seeking further security from her Majesties services, contribute funds to the Admiralty. For example, to increase security in Omega-3, local businesses contributed funds to pay for an extra bounty to be placed on criminal miners.

Below is a registrar to log all contributions from both the Merchant Navy, and citizens of Bretonia. Their patriotism, the Admiralty feels, deserves to be recognized publicly.

Discretionary Budget Registry Office,

Good day gentlemen. I wish to record a contribution to the budget from one of the transports under my command, the Merchant Navy Vessel "Ranger", a luxury liner which was impounded following the invasion of Gran Canaria, and drafted into the Merchant fleet.

The last few months have been kind economically, government subsidies on Cobalt in the recent Aland operation yeileded considerable profits for the Merchant Navy, and the Ranger is in position to register ￡250,000,000.- to the BAF coffers.

G'day. I suppose this should be more... offical and formal but I didn't come here to tell you some long fancy words. So as of right now, neither are we bretonian citizens neither do we belong to anytype of navy. But however! The Sirius Syndicate recognises potential in adding credits to your budget. We have wired a sum of money to your account.

Perhaps... Hopefully, this will add a good note to our relationship. And perhaps shine some light on the Bounty Hunters and Freelancers in the house of Bretonia. Maybe you will even think about adding some extra funds to the bounty board and making some bounties more... Pleasing.
This might be considered a sign of patriotism, or, from our side, an investment in the relationship with the Bretonian government and its armed forces.
