Can we put the Pilgrim Liner back into the Pirate/Freelancer ID? - SnakeLancerHaven - 08-01-2019

Now the Pilgrim liner was a realy good option since it's the only Liner with huge Cargo that also has a CD (but no CM). Why was it removed from the Pirate ID in the first place? I'd understand if the Pirate Train would've recieved a CD, but it doesn't. This could also be added to Freelancer ID

Add it back to the Freelancer ID too. It's like THE slaving ship but since the Smuggler/Slaver ID hasn't existed for years anybody who can fly it goes for pretty much anything else. Freelancers can fly the Pirate Train, so why not the Slave Liner?

Dunno about what you speak, one of most decent liners, and its have no problems with lanes, despite it size.
*looks on his 4-5 Pilgrims*

Junkers can pirate and smuggle with it right now. And Freelancer cargo restrictions would motivate people to fly it just for cargo size, or its cargo size would have to be reduced.

But.

I agree that every bit of non gamebalance damaging liberalization is a good one. Therefore pirates should be able to use it so they can also use it for piracy in house space, and Freelancers should be able to use ships with larger cargo hold (4100 is fine). The "restrict this ID so that ID is used more" had some legitimacy when we had enough players to theoretically fill every faction. Now it has only negative consequences.

I agree, i guess I could add Freelancer ID on the title

or if the PTrain would recieve a CD Slot maybe and CMs removed.

Ptrain definitely won't be getting a CD; the only >3600 transports that have one are liners, which are disadvantaged by being huge and very slow. The Ptrain is microscopically tiny compared to other ships of its cargo class and has full heavy transport thrust speed.

Now whether or not Freelancers should get the Ptrain is debatable, but since they do, there's little reason for them (and Pirate ID) not to get the Pilgrim. The Ptrain will always outclass it for trading, and pretty much any transport with a CD will outclass it as a pirate ship.

Someone should file a player request so that this can be properly voted on.

Player Request submitted.
