Esteemed representatives of the Gas Miners Guild,

I am Sabrina Iltzmann, Secretary of Foreign Affairs for the Republic of Malta. In the past, I believe the foreign corespondents commission for the proto-Republic attempted contact with the GMG, but to no avail. I'm hoping this time is different, and that the Republic and the Guild can have proper diplomatic relations.

The Republic of Malta has had its eye on contacting the Sigma cluster for a time, and while our people do not frequent that area of Sirius as often as most nationalist Maltese might, the Republic still has interests in that region of space. I've been asked to see to contacting the most notable local governing organization, which just so happens to be the Guild. To that end, the Republic would like to establish a line of contact with the GMG to possibly coordinate for the betterment of both our people.

Should the Guild have any inquiries for the Republic, I will do what I can to provide the best answer I am able. Until then, I look forward to hearing from the Guild regarding this matter.
