the other day i was having problems with FLMM. i got disco mod working but not work around. then i reinstalled FLMM and now im getting what i had b4 on both. i hit active mod and i get stuff like: Error: SHCopyFile failed ('C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\Freelancer Mod Manager\mods\gls_workaround_v10\EXE\gls_workaround.dll' to 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\EXE\gls_workaround.
other stuff to but its mostly SHCopy. ill run test myself but while im trying that can anyone help me?
UPDATE:
i have no clue what i did but it looks like it works so far. both checked ect. ill give final update if it fully works.
UPdate 2: i get this server offline thing right now. idk if it is or not

try launching FLMM as Administrator

hmm i just tryed that to no advil.
i have
Advast! virus scanner
Vista
lots of Gigs room
and used the RP short cut as well as the normal under admin.
Golbal and Disco are both checked.

Have you disabled windows firewall?

i list what ive done:
Installed FL on laptop with vista
go Gobal work around and Disco. activated disco first.
deactivated Windows wall.
uninstalled advast!
got avira
ran RP short cut as admin
nothing

i had a similar problem when i first tried to run the disco mod....do this:
right click freelancer shortcut
go to properties, edit target line to look like this:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\EXE\Freelancer.exe" -s82.113.48.5:2302
that should allow you to see the server in multiplayer.....let me know if that helps
