Moka As you know, Bretonia burns. While the gauls lost at New London, they managed to bombard the planet from orbit, effectively giving as a final fuck you to the Bretonians, then decided it wasn't enough, so they are pretty much doing this at Leeds too, while both sides are pulling out people from certain doom
This represents... New opportunities. First, They don't really took twice who's ship they put their refugees on. As long as they have space, they'll push them full with them. A few gallic ones would sure fetch a nice price at home, I know a few people who like "Exotics" like them. Second, With all the relief ships going there, packed full of food, medical supplies, and whatever they could sell, piracy is an option too. Both Liberty Navy and the Armed Forces are too spread out to effectively counter our raiding parties. And finally, the black market is on the rise there, and we could gain a rather large share, if we organise a blockade with our southern allies, and sell the stolen supplies back to the Brets. The last part needs some serious organization on our end, but I believe it's profitable for us on the long run. See me, if you've got questions Dixon OPEN FOR REPLIES
RE: To: Moka | From: Dixon - Moka - 08-25-2019 ![]() Dixon Ah, I see you have been out travelling again. Nice. I've heard about this kerfuffle in Bretonia and in all honesty, I haven't been that way as I don't want to get shot. But I see you got some balls on you, boy. I like what you're thinking, how do you propose we get in on this potential cash cow? Our southern allies in the Unioners? Lord Moka RE: To: Moka | From: Dixon - Y'berg - 09-02-2019 To: Lord Moka

Moka Well, slaving passed now, but it was a secondary objective anyway. The real business is blockading them from every direction. The brigands could handle the Taus nicely, if we'll ask them kindly. Magellan and Cortez are our main game, anyway. I'm sure the Hackers still got access to the gate network, and I'm pretty sure the either the Hessians and the unioners would like to hurt Bretonia too.
The plan is relatively simple, We'll destroy enough incoming ships, and loot their supplies to keep them on the edge as long as we can. Of course, it's important to sell the "liberated" supplies back to them, on the black market. Thus gaining a significant part in the local underworld trade, as there are no major players in the area. Most Gaian cells aren't interested in this kind of business, and as far as I've heard, the mollies are all but extinct at this point. Now for the hard part. We'll need trustworthy people for this operation. No psychos, bloodthirsty murderhobos, or Hellhounds. Put them on raiding parties to do what they do best in different areas. Also, storing the loot would be rather problematic in these systems, since we don't have a strong enough foothold in the Tau border. I doubt Montezuma is hidden enough, and Magellan lacks a hideaway that bears our flag. Dixon OPEN FOR REPLIES
RE: To: Moka | From: Dixon - Moka - 09-12-2019 ![]() Dixon You're right, storing crap in that area is scarce, the Crayterians still linger in Cortez and It being opened between the two Houses has allowed the transports to flow again, but it also means more patrols. Have we got a consideration on that? The best I think we can do is a more a two team tactic, the attackers and the transports, transports being the higher number to be able to get from there back into Liberty. I can rustle up places in the central but that's significant travel time and time exposed to danger. Though, is there anyone else in that system that we can persuade to "look after" some stuff? Only really those liners from Curacao... Imagine that, selling our goodies to a liner company, it might get them favour if they can dodgy up the books and some side cash and a small understanding that we leave them alone. Whadda ya reckon? Moka I've sent one of my guys to make a little recon for suitable places for housing the supplies. She did found suitable locations in both systems, and Barrier Gate is basically next door if the raiders could fill both locations up.
As for the "Friendly local neighbours", it's worth considering, given if they'll listen in the first place. The Cunterian Republic'll have it's own problems in the short run, by the looks of it. Coronado has some opportunities to raid a few automated mining ops around Planet Salina. Yuma's out of the question, it's too heavily defended at the moment, not to mention the rather problematic issue of their population. Dixon OPEN FOR REPLIES
