Selling Chicago (Free) - Paddy. - 09-05-2019
Hi all.
Due to serious health issues in the family, Dad, has asked me to sell/dispose of Chicago POB.
DSE ID, almost full health. It is Tier 2 and only needs the plans to turn into a tier three.
Down side it is in Alberta, and the buyer would need to pay Liberty full fees to have the base there. Dad has been trying to relocate it but the Mod developers are reluctant. Even to relocate it within Alberta.
Basically it needs someone who can pay the lease, do some RP to get the plans to upgrade it and also sweet talk the GM to shift it.

That fee seems quite a lot, 1.7 bio Cr? And no chance to get the base out of this dead end system? If the GMs are reluctant, better declare bankruptcy and let the station die in dignity, despite all the hard work already put in.

Yeah I understand that thinking. Dad isn't in a position RL to do much about things and it has been a big part of his time in Disco.
The 1.7Bil SC is pretty high. I think a few money grubbers in Liberty either want the money - who actually is in charge of the Liberty Govt. We ought to know - or just want to shut down the base.
Unless there is a kind an benevolent GM/Modder who would see some positives in supporting a move.

Ironic as Dad offered this to Liberty forces to use free of charge, and he would maintain it. Still a DSE|- base, but gifted free to the use of Libertonian legal forces.

As a loyal Libertonian, I am sure Dad is happy that his generosity to the people of Liberty is not in vein.
Treat it well and if you ever do vacate, offer it back.
