Stuart's Story (part 2) - McNeo - 10-03-2006 As Stuart entered the Dublin system, He was met by Colm Cillian who was in the middle of a firefight between himself and 23 other Corsairs in Titans. They ignored me straight away. This was possibly due to the fact that they were tied up with Cillian but it looked like he could handle it. He was speaking to me on the comms while he was fighting and he boasted that there had been 40 titans in the first place. My first thoughts were "what a good pilot" and "I got my work cut out for me....damn". Once he had finished having his fun, he explained to me the seriousness of that attack. 40 Corsairs, supposedly guarding the Target couple had set up a blockade of the system to prevent anyone going in or out. Too bad they had been bested by a hotshot guy in a Manta. We wondered silently "i wonder how they will fare with 2 hotshot pilots on their case". Once we reached the jump hole to Omega 49, we had found it unguarded. Both of us thought there had been a firefight as there was wreckage strewn everywhere. We both noticed the uneven ratio of Corsairs and Bounty Hunters in their life pods. Many Bounty hunters, few Corsairs. The fight hadn't ended there though, as they were still makeing obscene jestures to each other. One Bounty Hunter had even managed to activate the reseve fuel in the pod and slammed the Corsair pod wide open. Stuart grimaced as the bodyparts of the unfortunate Corsair narrowly missed his shiny Manta. Cillian and Stuart decided to pick up the Bounty Hunters floating in space and asked that in return for this, they Bounty Hunters would follow their every command for this mission. Obviously, they agreed (under pain of being left to float away) and they proceeded through the jump hole. Upon entering the system, all was quiet. It didnt look like Corsairs, or anyone for that matter had been here in a long time. There was a faint battleship signature, but its path led into the jump hole and we disregarded it. Stuart was at a loss to why anyone would guard a baby that much and why anyone would want this specific baby that much. The two were proceeding too the Planet and noted the peacefulness of the system. Stuart became a bit sick at the task at hand; killing parents had been a byproduct of his job, but in this system.......it seemed like a crime. When the duo laned on the planet, they unloaded the Bounty Hunters from their hold and instructed them to commandeer a large land vessel for what seemed to them to be an invasion. Upon completion of this task, a Blond man wearing a grey trenchcoat appeared before Cillian. He was being held at gunpoint but told us that he was the informant we had been waiting for. He told us that he was an Outcast with the name "Cordez". We were happy, and as we had no time to lose, we had him escorted to the bus that we had waiting. It looked common enough, and at first glance, just looked like a bus carrying zoners. Cordez also told us that he had a much closer associate working with the pair, one which would be painfully obvious to them. "what a nice suprise that will be" "yes....it will" Cordez hissed with an evil grin on his face. Upon arrival at the ruins, we split into 7 teams of 10. The group that found the two or possibly three were too be given 30000 credits each. Being a large enough incentive, they ran into the ruins, eagerly searching for their prey. Stuart suddenly said "shhhh" as his party with Cillian entered the ruins. "I can hear footsteps" "So can I" stated Cillian "LETS GO!" We hurried arount the corner too find a Corsair guard in the process of turning around to face us. Just then, Cillian shot him with his assault rifle. I Whispered to him "nice shot" as it had cought him between the eyes. His face imploded in on the spot, forcing many of us except Cillian to look away. Just then, a man in a white coat appeared behind us. Before any of us could raise a finger, he stated that he was the informant Cordez was talking about, and the pair that we had cornered was indeed the pair that SiN|Tech was after. He also stated the importance of the main objective, the little "bundle of joy" in the mothers arms. Stuart did not remember what conversation he and the Family had, only that it was short and he threw up afterwards. The deed he had commited was indeed a dirty one, but he reminded himself of the 500 million credits he would get, and his stomach calmed down. Second part completed, last part (mabey last) comming soon!!!! :D Please comment on my work here. It is quite haphazard in using the 3rd perdon and 1st person in writing. Stuart's Story (part 2) - DarkOddity - 10-03-2006 I'm enjoying it. Happy now? ----- 'Anyone else gonna say anything' is becoming a trendy thing to say on these forums lately. Patience!... Or I'll say it's rubbish just because you asked someone to say anything.
