Diplomatic meeting on the Estremadura - Megaera - 09-16-2019
The battletransport Fuyuzora was flying through Maltese space, flanked by 4 GC blossom fighters and two orchid bombers, onboard the transport were high priestess Kiwako Kiku and Matriarch Ishikawa Aya. The convoy had set its course towards the Estremadura station. Due to the incidents in Taus recently, Aya decided to protect the convoy adequately, but not to bring a fleet that might offend the Maltese host. As the convoy arrived, the defense squadron broke formation and the Fuyuzora docked on the station alone.
The delegation disembarked from the Fuyuzora. The Matriarch wore her silver mask that covered the lower part of her face and a GC officer combat flightsuit. It was not long until she spotted Antonio
"Senor de Motti, I thank you for receiving us on such short notice."

A young short man dressed in the red shirt, black pants and glowing black shoes, has waited for delegation in the hangar of Estremadura Base. A large premise could contain even a big super transport like bretonian 'Shetland' was, but today the guests have arrived on board of kusarian 'Akegata".
Antonio did not seem worried, with tranquillity watching how transport slowly lands on the base. Finally, the ship stands the ground and one of transport's stairs has gone down to allow delegation with elegance left the ship.
The man has made a deep breath: oxygen and Cardamine both mixed at his lungs. He made a step forward and made a short bow to delegation contained from three women.
"Buenos Dias and welcome to Estremadura, senoras. How the flight goes? I do hope you not faced troubles on your way." - he said, - "I am Antonio de Motti, Chief Executive Officer of Cuatroce Corporation. Nice to meet you."

Kiku Kiwako, the priestess of Amaterasu was patiently sitting beside Matriarch, it was obvious she wasn't really fond of these flights. Danger, death, violence.
She however followed one simple rule in such situations. Expect the unexpected. Her foot was tapping against the floor in steady but nervous rhythm, she was expecting something bad to happen. Few jumps later the rhythm of her foot was a little bit faster, but ceased as soon as they were close to their destination. Taking a deep breath, the young woman in green dress with decorations, followed Matriarch out of the ship, one would say in haste. Kiku quietly examined and observed the man greeting them. A casual look, nothing less, nothing more. She also bowed them slightly, to show her respect and crossed her arms shortly after.. "Kon'nichiwa, de Motti-sama. I am Kiku Kiwako, the priestess in our sisterhood. The flight was... Alright, hai alright." Kiku said last words in quiet tone, her eyes looking at Matriarch. It was her first time on a mission like this one.

The Matriarch returned the bow and looked back at Kiku.
"Kiwako-san, is the head priestess of the Kinkaku-ji shrine. I thought it suitable to bring her on this meeting. The Base Administrator is too occupied by the logistics and repairs of the base to be present here today. I suppose you have a place where we could discuss our business in private?"
She looked at her guards and told them to remain with the ship

"We will go to our bar if you not mind. We have a good private lobby there, where you can relax after the journey, taste our newest shipment of Cardamine and we will talk." - the man answered with a smile and invited the guests to leave hangar and to walk with him.

Soon after, in the private lobby of the bar. Aya and Kiku sat across the table from de Motti.
"I first want to extend my gratitude to the Maltese Unitary Republic of Hispania for their extensive deployment of resources in the defense of Kinkaku-ji. Repairs are well underway and our casualties are minimised by your support. I decided it was necessary to call for this meeting to talk about the future of Kinkaku-ji. The Naval attack has been averted, but the base will need to be reinforced if it is to withstand another siege.
This brings me to you. The Golden Chrysanthemums do not have the expertise to construct the base I have envisioned on their own. You have seen Kinkaku-ji and the potentional it has. I would like to request the help of Maltese engineers to improve and fortify Kinkaku-ji."

Kiku followed both to the bar. As she walked her arms remained crossed. The spiritual leader was kindly surprised by decorations of the Maltese bar, offering of the cardamine made her also interested. Kiku carefully sat down beside Matriarch, placing her arms under the table,
carefully observing surroundings of their lobby. "The station also holds a high spiritual value for us, beside it is the thing which boosts morale of our sisters. Losing it would make us weak, it's something we cannot afford at this time." Kiku said, nodding in agreement with Matriarch's speech.

Antonio has entered the bar with Gen'an delegation behind him. Pleasant soft light of dark orange by lamps above tables and by the bar was not disgusting for eyes. Relaxing music played at "Naranja Squiddo", the Captains of ships arrived at the station and just simple guests of the station have drunk, talking and breathed in Cardamine from the hookah. Their coming has summoned some attention: some visitors with interest have looking on them.
The delegation has gone up and entered to one of few private lounges. "Naranja" was a mostly place for meetings, so and men or women, looking for pleasure and entertainment have visited another place on the station: brothels, clubs or striptease bars.
The room they entered had almost the same decorations as others: calm orange light had creating private atmosphere, relaxing music, Cardamine hookah, but the big aquarium has held one of the walls. A lot of different fishes have floated there, glowing in the dusk.
"Please, sit down." Antonio by welcomed gesture has offered them. The man himself sat down in front of them. He kindled the hookah and listened to what Matriarch and the priestess have said and after a short pause, has said:
"Indeed are a pleasure to hear your gratitude, dear Matriarch," - he nodded to them. "We understand the value of Kinkaku-Ji for Gen'an Sisterhood and ready to send you an engineering group for help and assistance with base repairs and upgrade. But, in return, I wish to have more cargo storage for Cardamine. I want to increase our Cardamine traffic to Liberty and within Kusari. Is that sounds good for you, Matriarch?"

"Kinkaku-ji has extensive storage facilities and as the base expands, so will its storage capacities be expanded to support the demand of the base's needs. We have already opened up a cardamine market on the station that sells the quality cardamine of the Cadiz Cartel. I am sure we could increase the sales over time. Kinkaku-ji also has the ideal position to become a potential cardamine trade hub, which would benefit both us and Malta.
But a trade hub is something we could construct ourselves. The Golden Chrysanthemums lack infrastructure that our enemies and even our allies possess. A shipyard. We are highly dependant on our allies to maintain our vessels which are larger than a fighter or a bomber, which severely cripples us. Our tridente gunboats and aspis need to go all the way to Valetta for the most basic of repairs. This is both a costly and dangerous endaevour. We do not possess a shipyard of our own, so we do no not have the expertise in constructing one. Malta does."
She takes the hookah and inhales the fresh cardamine.

The attention of the priestess was taken by aquarium, so many kinds of fish were present and it somehow distracted her during the speech. She slowly got up and walked towards the aquarium and quietly observed the life of these precious beings. "To addition Matriarch obviously wanted to say a bit more, shipyard in southern Kusari would also benefit you and your fleet. You never know when your transports and capitals will be in need of repairs... For example after the ambush or attack. The closest shipyard is located in your space or there is the one of Rogues, that's quite a distance isn't it. However another shipyard and checkpoint in Kusari would help securing the way for our merchants and make all of our lives much easier... Where did you get this pure orange fish?" Kiku asked them, still observing aquarium, not even looking at Antonio or Matriarch.
