To: Cuatroce || From: IRG - Dartes - 09-22-2019 -----: Secure Channel Open :----- -----: Encryption Level 2 :----- -----: Sender: Martin Lawrence :----- Greetings to who may I concern, My name is Martin Lawrence and I'm member of the Ingenuus Research Group. Now, I've been informed that some harsh words have been brought out by you towards Freeport 10 in Tau-37 system. I'd like to make some things clear with you, right at the beginning. First off, threathening to take control over a Freeport, is not the right way to start a discussion with anybody, especially somebody that isn't administrating the base. As you may understand, that's not how you treat somebody that welcomed you on their base as their guest, so wisely reconsider your words. After this, you made accusations of Zoners taking in "terrorists" on our base. I'd like to remind you that our community accepts anyone on our bases with the request of being a formal guest on it, and to not start any violent encounter in the 10k readius from the Freeport, the so called NFZ. We are not interested in any way in internal matters of any kind,as they are not our business, therefore keep them out of our bases. As we are not interested either in your problems with Velvet, you shall keep your encounters out of the NFZ or the rules will be applied and sanctions will be sent to said traspassers. This is a mutual respect situation, and as IRG never interfeared with your matters or bases, you shall not do it either. I hope this brings some clearence to you and your men, and I hope we shall never hear this type of behaviour again. Best regards. Martin Lawrence of IRG Freeport 10 issues
Señor Lawrence,
We have had no major quarrels with Freeport 10 inhabitants who have been trading various goods at our side which was beneficial for us in the long run. Yet, after harbouring MOA terrorists we had to reconsider our stance on the station as it lies within the Protectorate of the Maltese Unitary Republic of Hispania. Within our territories to harbour terrorists was not a good move yet we respected the neutrality. We observed couple of times Freeport 10 covering MOA terrorists who were protected by the NFZ and not requested to leave it. However, our own pilot was rejected to enjoy the same rule in Freeport 11. Such hypocrisy on our side will not be tolerated. We respect IRG and your business, so we can stop hostilities under condition that you ban the group of zoners of "Velvet" from Freeport 10 and Tau 37 system. Then I solemnly swear our hostilities will end. If, however, you decide to side with Velvet on this - then you are forcing our hand to continue hostilities against the Velvet and their associates, as well as against their facilities in the system. Zoners are no organised movement with a fleet and an army to risk the deployment of Hispanian forces free from the Gallic front, so I suggest you reconsider the position of Velvet in the system for now until the situation eases up. After some time, perhaps, we will let them back in. Choose wise, Señor Lawrence. Tau 37 is almost home front for us that is easily re-supplied and supported under large scale. Countless lives are at stake.
Respetuosamente,

I cannot speak for Freeport 11, as the base is under another administration, we cannot say or do anything to enforce laws there. But it happens that Freeport 10 falls under that category, where we enforce the law. I think docking on Freeport 10 was never denied to you, so please, try using another excuse to be very agressive against a base that has done zero harm to you personally or Malta. Freeports are meant to be a peaceful place, where unlawfuls and lawfuls can dock and not being afraid of being murdered while they are having a drink at the bar, and we will let nobody to harm that well hard achieved concept, and I hope you understand it. Therefore, we are not scared of your threats, but we won't of course sit and do nothing regarding this matter. A communication with IRG's stance will be sent to both parties involved, Cuatroce and Velvet, so both parties can kindly adeguate to the situation. One thing we need you to respect, our decisions that have been made and will be made,as administrators of Freeport 10, can we count on you for that? Martin Lawrence of IRG Freeport 10 issues
Señor Lawrence,
Our issue is not with Freeport 10 per se but with Velvet ships present in Tau 37. You have a say in zoner matters - use your influence levers to make them return to the bases under their command. As I said before, if they comply - we have no reason to assault Freeport 10. If they not, however, and if they use Freeport 10 as a fortification for their operations in the system - appropriate measures will be used regardless of the authority in charge on Freeport 10 due to proximity of the station to our core systems and its strategic importance. You have a say in this conflict - you can have an impact on its resolution. Our position regarding eviction of Velvet vessels is unlikely to be changed, so if you cannot convince them to leave Freeport 10 to you, then, unfortunately, hostilities are unavoidable.
