Bonjour Mademoiselle Laroux.
Our apologies Maréchal. We were not informed that Leeds system was still contested territory. In fact we had the firmest assurance from the Bretonian Government that Leeds was once again under their total control, and apart from rare attacks from Gaians and Molly Separatists this was safe for us to do business.
To explain our being here. We are a franchise holder for Deep Space Engineers. We, my husband and I, replied to an advertisement from the Bretonians for engineering companies that specialise in rebuilding and maintaining tradelanes, station repairs and the like. We were given a contract to repair the civilian infrastructure in the upper Leeds system, To do that we required a forward base of operations so we built Hamilton base. Once completed it was our intent to hand over the keys of Hamilton to the governing authorities.
We are a civilian operation, not aligned in any way with Bretonia. You are most welcome to inspect Hamilton but I will need a ship name to enable authorised docking. I must admit to being rather ignorant of the political situation in Leeds but were given assurances we were "doing it right". However, if we have an obligation to the Marshalcy of Gallia, please advise so that we may set it right.

I am afraid you have been very much misinformed by the Bretonian Government regarding your safety. The Enclave cannot and will not tolerate a reconstruction effort in the Leeds system and we will continue to do everything in our power to prevent that from happening. Including, but not limited to, the eradication of any rogue outposts built by foreign engineering corporations for this reason.
This war is not over, you have placed yourself in the centre of it and these are the consequences.
