Something going wrong? - Miaou - 03-08-2009 Ok, I had the 4.84 mod and was using if for the Discovery RP server, but when I got on today, it said some strange version. So I looked on this forum and found the new beta is needed to use it so I said "ok!" and downloaded it. Here's where the problems started. After downloading 4.85 beta, I loaded it up and tried to connect to internet. It wouldnt let me for some reason, so I decided to switch back to 4.84. When un-doing the mod, it said some error occured, and now none of the mods work except 4.85 beta, which wont connect to internet. Long story short, 4.85 beta seemed to mess up my mod DLer. anyone know how to fix it? Something going wrong? - SilentAssassin82 - 03-08-2009 When you installed the new mod the shortcut to the Discovert server must not have been added to you FreeLancer shortcut on your desktop. Something going wrong? - Ackarion - 03-08-2009 So how do you fix it? I too can not connect to the internet now! What to do? Something going wrong? - Miaou - 03-08-2009 I dont use the shortcut. I just click "run Freelancer" on the mod as the direct opener. Something going wrong? - Saigo.Watanabe - 03-08-2009 Firstly make sure you completely uninstall Freelancer and FLMM ( after backing up your accounts) and then install Freelancer and FLMM again. Then Import 48.52 into FLMM and voila, that should work. Post back if that doesn't work. Something going wrong? - Dantomir - 03-08-2009 Does not work, cannot connect with the server. Something going wrong? - swift - 03-08-2009 Backup accounts. Uninstall FL. ( Don't even need to deactivate disco mod) Delete the remains in the FL folder after uninstall. Uninstall FLMM. Delete the remains of the FLMM install folder. Install FL. Install FLMM. Double click the downloaded 4.85 disco mod so it's automatically extracted into the FLMM mods folder. Activate the Disco mod. Play. Something going wrong? - Miaou - 03-08-2009 how do you back up your charaters? Something going wrong? - swift - 03-08-2009 Use a program called Freelancer Account Manager.
