People of Kusari, I come before you today with important news of our war against the barbarians of Bretonian. Over the last weeks, our glorious Naval Forces led by the honorable Shogun Sulu have pressed there offensive in Tau31, and in a marvel of military strategy that will be studied for centuries, broke through the Bretonian lines and into the Leeds system. Our forces have captured Glasgow station, before moving on and capturing Stokes station. Capitalizing on the opportunity Shogun Sulu has order the Battleship Nagasaki into the Leeds system.
People of Kusari, we have won a momentous battle, this is the beginning of the end for our enemy. As of this day, I am claiming territorial sovereignty over the territory know as Upper Leeds for the Kusari Empire. KNF Forces are authorized to enforce Kusari Law in our newest territory. From this day forward, the territory previously known as Leeds shall be known as the Seto System. The station known as Stokes shall be renamed Daisin, and the base known as Glasgow shall be known as Oga station.
People of Kusari, your support has been instrumental in our glorious success as an Empire. Our forces look to you for their moral center and to keep their spirits buoyed. The strength of those on the home front does not go unnoticed by our forces. The work of the KSP and groups like the Farmers Alliance and Hogosha, in fighting domestic threats from the GC and Blood dragons brings joy to our solders and pilots on a daily basis. It is Kusari they fight for, and they see, with strong Kusari citizens at home, clearly just what that means.
People of Kusari, stand tall today, for the victory of our Naval Forces is a victory for us all. It is because of you, the People of Kusari, and the proud Samurai of the Naval Forces, that I bid farewell, with the title, Jien Kogen, Emperor of Kusari, Protector of the Taus, and Sovereign of Seto.
