I just recently added 4.85 beta2 to my list of mods. Now I can not get connected to the network at all.
I removed/reinstalled: Freelancer / FMM (and updated to 1.4) / Installed Global server Walkaround v10 / Activated 4.85 beta 2. (I am using XP.)
Still I can not get connected to the servers, just stuck on "Global Server Connecting". When I revert to Freelancer 1.0 or 4.84 I have no problems. I connect and get a list of servers.
So that tells me there is an issue with 4.85beta2, in connection to the internet.
I see there are ppl on the net using 4.852 so it works for them, so what is the deal?

You can edit the freelancer desktop icon and change the "target" destination.
Simply add "-s82.113.48.5:2302" at the end. Example:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\Exe\Freelancer.exe" -s82.113.48.5:2302

I also found a solution on how to reverse the broblem.
Add "FLList mod" and the "Workaround v1.0" mod to your FMM and avtivate them with your "48.52" mod then this should activate your connection.
