To: Administrator of Freeport 10 | CC: GRG| - Republica de Malta - 10-12-2019

Administrator,

My name is Horatio Esposita, Secretary of State for the Republic of Malta and current administrator over intra-Maltese affairs.
I regret to inform you that a situation has arisen within the Llivia (Tau-37) system that likely cannot be solved without contact.

At approximately 1800 Sirian Standard Time, one of our pilots, callsign Gladius-1, was making rounds into the Llivia system where it came across a large Cuatroce and IRMM fleet within the Freeport's No Fire Zone. At the time, we were unaware of any restriction of craft within the No Fire Zone by the IRG, and as such Gladius-1 took it upon himself to remain within the zone and keep to non-combat.

Tensions were high from the report sent to the Maltese Armed Forces by the pilot of Gladius-1, but no shots were fired by the pilot, as can be proven by the presence of many onlookers and a captain of the GRG| on site. The Republic, continuously respectful of Zoner regulations, was not part of the events preceding the banning of Maltese vessels within the zone, and would like to appeal.
I would first hear what the Administrator has to say in regards to this issue. I will also open this channel up to the GRG|, as their vessel that was present (GRG|Toga) maintained their posture and can attest to the actions that occurred today. I will also provide what gun-cam images the pilot in question was able to capture before departing the station.

Adiós, y buen día.

Greetings,

I am Nicole Malakai, current administrator of Freeport 10. The situation was quite a mess and I have yet to go through the evidence provided by parties.

Just to avoid confusion, are you affiliated with IRMM and QC Republic?

However before you can answer I have to regrettably keep you banned from Freeport 10, together with QC, IRMM and other Maltese groups. It's a temporary solution until situation is stable again, I hope you understand.

With regards,

~Malakai

Administrator Malakai,

It is unfortunate that the current situation could not exclude the Republic's potential dealings aboard the Freeport. We understand the circumstances, and hope a swift end to the troubles that plague your station.

To answer your question, no. The Republic of Malta is a separate entity from those whom you know as the 'IRMM' or the 'Maltese Hispania'. I will not drag you into Maltese politics, but it would do you and your administration good to know that the Republic views the current Maltese leadership as illegitimate, and does not recognize their authority.
Politics aside, should there be any assistance the Republic or its people may provide to the Freeport, I would ask that you bring it to my attention. Freeport 10 has been a boon to the success of Malta in the past, and to recognize the Zoners' contributions is par for the course.

For the time being, however, Armed Forces and civilian personnel will receive notices to give your station a wide berth until the situation resolves itself.

Adiós, y buen día.

Greetings,

I am glad you shared your brief information about me, it's one of these missing pieces of puzzle I need to make this region a bit more stable. At least around my base.

I am grateful you are for now the most cooperative group out of them all. I will make sure to get in touch with you as soon as this mess is over. Just a few days.

With regards,

~Malakai

Good day to all involved parties,
My name is Martin Lawrence, active CEO of Genesis Research Group.
As Miss Malakai is well aware, I'm not in the state of administration, or that me or my co-workers have any "power" to enforce the NFZ.
The Captain that sent me the report of what's going on, tried to keep himself and his crew as far from the conflict as possible.
The GRG will keep it's distance in the conflict, as we are not a military faction nor dirrectly involved in this conflict.
So unless Miss Malakai says otherwise, we will just confirm that the behaviour of *MR|Gladius-1 was within the normal regulations, just not the temporary applied one.
I've made some regulations with fines before, if Miss Malakai wants to implement them.
If you need me, please don't hesitate to contact me.
