Game Problems. - Greylock - 11-27-2019 Hey all, it's ya best friend Grey. For the past several months, roughly nine out of ten times that I try to log in, my game freezes, causing my ships to get flagged by the anti-cheat (as I'm sure @St.Denis has seen and looked rather suspiciously at). It is a huge nuisance when I'm trying to do equipment transfers.
So, my question really is as follows: Has anyone else had this problem, and if you found a fix, what was it? If I just start Freelancer game and immediately(within a reasonable time) come to the server. All works fine. If I left the game waiting in the main menu for 10-30 minutes or more. It's always crashed after I select ship to load. If I play long enough and switch between characters more than 3 times without restarting Freelancer, it leads to being crashing when a new ship loaded too. The problem persists on two different computers. With two different, but in both cases Windows 7 systems. As far as I discovered, anticheat triggered only because, when game crashed, my character is still considered to be logged, and logging again leads to anti-cheat trigger. I wait 2-3 minutes for characters to be gone for sure, before logging back. In that way anti-cheat, I think is not triggered. My solution is simple. Never leave the game in the main menu, close it fully, only leaving dslauncher working. Restarting game if changing characters is a good habit. RE: Game Problems. - Greylock - 11-27-2019 Unfortunately, your solution won't be effective for me, as even right after starting the game, my game freezes. The exe doesn't even have the decency to close itself, it just freezes, rendering me nearly powerless to do anything on many occasions, resulting in force rebooting the entire computer because neither mouse nor keyboard will function. Normally it's only the mouse, but I have had no keyboard function at times as well.

I had a lot of programs opened. I think at least RAM memory has ended, I was switched I think to using RAMbased_onHDDmemory, that's why I had huge hallucinations. You need to check how much percent of CPU, RAM and HDD-writing-reading-capability is busy when your game is running. This is often problem for someone who uses Windows 10 and antiviruses because they can overflow your PC capability. RE: Game Problems. - Paddy. - 11-27-2019 Have you cleaned out the dust from your computer? It has been like that for me sometimes and the system overheats as the dust acts like a blanket.
