This was a long and hard journey for him. Antoine just wanted to have enough cash to not live like a poor bastard but he was not skilled enough to join perspective corporations like EFL or IDF so he took up with the Gallic Junkers. From the very beginning, he was living out his dream: the young man has thought they will be clearing Gallia from scrap and other waste floating in space after the centuries of humanity's expansion in the stars. So the man had started his job...

Then when Le Roi began to fall apart. With the most part of Royal fleet in Sirius, the Council and its supporters had made everything burn in their crusade. Antoine was not a supporter of their ideas but at the same time, he has no love for the King's regime. His goal was to make enough cash to live long and prosper somewhere on Orleans or a similar planet that was pretty and had warm weather.

Now Delacroix is in Cambridge, onboard his old ship which he inherited from the previous captain. "Fortuna" was the tough ship which endured many trials during her life: long flights within fields of scrap and other hazardous waste, The escape to the Tau's from the massacre and then one year in the Tau sectors almost with limited supplies and requiring important repairs. The ship's hull was heavily damaged and only a miracle keep it in one piece.

Antoine needed a new ship. He had risked a lot but it had paid off, now it was the time to collect a ship the man purchased from the Bretonians and leave this damn place for once and for all - "Shetland" has suffered a lot of damage according to the Bretonians. It will take time to repair it and make it fly as well as it once did. But before that - the security check and getting a skeleton crew on board for it to be moved to the Junker's shipyard in Puerto Rico.

The communicator of his on-board device began to glow. From the speakers came a clear voice, without interference.

Antoine was not happy to hear what this policeman or whoever he was, said to him. Delacroix has always hated the bureaucracy of Gallia. Within Sirius space, the situation was not better.

The man takes a deep breath before giving an order. "Dock us with the orbital terminal, its time to visit those teabags", - It was a short command directed towards the pilot, whom was also the navigator. The crew of his ship was few in number and so every member had to fill multiple roles.

"Aye-aye, Captain," - a short answer; from a pretty old woman with brown hair and blue eyes. Her name's Armel Dubois: she was born on Orleans and that was actually all that the crew knew about her. She is a good pilot and a pretty nice navigator. With her help, they survived for a long time in Tau space, avoiding routes of well-armed patrols and raiding the weaker ones. She was really good at her job but was not too good at social things, and so she was mostly lonely.

Once the ship docked with orbital terminal, Antoine left the ship alone. He took all necessary documents, most of which were just a forgery, but made him appear good enough to allow him to operate in Liberty without issues with the police. He still uses his gallic name, but now he's a refugee of war, not a former Gallic Junker. Such a pity that he is really a refugee.

The man had leased a shuttle to Saint Mary's Island. In less than an hour, he was there. The island itself was a big piece of land, with a big city on it and a few small towns around. The planet had a pretty warmth climate. Antoine liked this planet but was not sure about the habitants of it. Years of war with Sirius and the following propaganda have made a lot of Gallic people xenophobic and suspended from Sirians. Centuries should pass before Gauls can trust Sirians if they ever would.

From a spaceport, he took a taxi to the address which the Bretonian told him. The city itself greeted him with well-groomed lawns, green trees, bird's songs and other specific for late spring things. "Like war was never here" - he thought while walking towards the building with a number two in Rowthorne on Prince Charles Street.

In the middle of the green square stood a large building with huge lines of windows. The building remotely resembled a throne, the designers did a good job here.
In the lobby, Antoine was met by a cute young girl at the front desk.
"Good afternoon, sir. Is your meeting scheduled?"
A quick glance at Antoine’s ID, she tap several times on the tablet screen.
"Yes, sir. Mr. Gunner is waiting for you. Come, let me see you."
The girl and the captain together went upstairs, where Sam Gunner was sitting behind massive doors with the "Head of Customer Relations" sign.
"Sir, a visitor to you, Mr. Delacroix. Can I get you something? Maybe some tea? We have green tea from the planet Kyushu and some cookies."
“Thanks, Katie,” Sam said. "Be kind, bring us tea"
Katie left.
"So, Mr. Delacroix, please sit down on the sofa. Please give me your documents, I will immediately give its to the secretary to finish our business as soon as possible. I think that if there are no problems, it will take about 40 minutes. And you can pick up your new ship. It’s a little battered, I hope you know. But it can fly.
And while the documents are being checked, I hope you can tell me some wonderful stories from your life. For you know, I love stories ... "

Antoine enters a large building which remotely resembles a throne. The man disliked the design from the very moment he saw the building and even a lot of plants cannot change his opinion now. He prefers the right cubes of New Paris' megapolises, which Delacroix has never visited but has seen from a distance.

In the lobby, he was met by a young woman at the front desk. Her voice was chime and she was speaking clearly, without any unnecessary pauses. "Reminds me of a machine," - he thought while the woman continued to speak. She asked Antonine for an ID card, which he gave to her. A short look and then another dropped sentence.

"Yes, sir. Mr Gunner is waiting for you. Come, let me see you there."

The woman and Antoine went upstairs together, where Sam Gunner was sitting behind massive doors, with the "Head of Customer Relations" sign.

"Sir, a visitor for you, Mr Delacroix. Can I get you something? Maybe some tea? We have green tea from the planet Kyushu and some cookies." - the woman presented the captain and asked this when they both were in the cabinet. Common decor, just another faceless room with cupboards, few chairs, sofa and a table close to one of the walls with a man behind it. This man was Sam Gunner, so-called "Head of Customer Relations" of BMF corporation.

The man himself was just a regular office worker - nothing particular: red tie, white shirt, black official suit and shoes of the same colour. Sam looked at the young woman and said to her: “Thanks, Katie,” Sam said. "Be kind, bring us tea."

The woman who was named Katie left a room and they were alone from this very moment.

"So, Mr Delacroix, please sit down on the sofa. Please give me your documents, I will immediately give it to the secretary to finish our business as soon as possible. I think that if there are no problems, it will take about 40 minutes. And you can pick up your new ship. It’s a little battered, I hope you know. But it can fly." - she was speaking much and this annoyed Antoine, who absolutely disliked people who talk more than they work. But he tried to calm down and keep his face emotionless.

"And while the documents are being checked, I hope you can tell me some wonderful stories from your life. For you know, I love stories ... " - Mr Gunner finished his speech and looked on Antoine with an interest.

"I am poor of stories, Mister Gunner." - was a short answer from Antoine. He has looked in the man with noises of cold ice in his eyes. - "I would like to discuss important matters like the deal between you and me and I was hope you prefer the same. Would you ?"

Mr. Gunner became serious.
"Well, Mr. Delacroix, to the point. Now the specialists of my department will prepare documents for the transfer of ownership, people from the security department will check the documents for authenticity. As soon as they are finished, we will sign a sales agreement. Until then, we have a few minutes waiting. You can have some tea. "
Katie brought tea at that moment. A couple of minutes passed, Mr. Gunner drank hot tea, sometimes blowing on it, since it was too hot for him.
There was a call on the internal telephone. It was strange to see such obsolete devices in our time, but the BMF was famous for some old things.
Mr. Gunner listened to the man (it was impossible for an outsider to hear the speech), said "Yep" a couple of times.
“Okay, we'll wait. We are fine now.” And he hung up.
He smiled somewhat uncertainly and began to glance at the clock on the wall.
Two or three minutes later, BMF internal security officers entered the hall, twisted Delacroix's arms, and led the corridor into the elevator. It was so fast that Delacroix did not immediately understand what was going on.
He was brought into a windowless room, put on a chair, having previously handcuffed him.
"You are suspected of crimes against Bretonia and falsification of documents. BPA will be here soon"
