SPACE SYSTEM RESEARCH LOGS

THIS FORM WILL BE FILLED IN BY ALL SYSTEM RESEARCH OPERATIVES TO RELAY INFORMATION TO HIGH COMMAND.

PLEASE SUPPLY YOUR INFORMATION BELOW

OPERATIVE ID:[ZoG].Freeport12.HOR = Corvo Civilian Deep Space Explorer

TYPE OF RESEARCH CONDUCTED: System research

AREA OR SYSTEM THIS RESEARCH TOOK PLACE: Galileo System

FULL LOG OF THE TRIP:
  • WAYPOINT #1
Departed FREEPORT 12 at 19.29 Sirius time to do my first research mission.
Proceeded to waypoint one and on way found an undefined cloud of very dark matter and scanners were slightly effected.
The cloud was roughly within grid references E5 - C5 and D4 - D6 in size via grid references.
Approximate size of cloud is roughly 34k x 37k.
finally reached sector A5 and only spotted a few rogues.

  • WAYPOINT #2
19.33 headed towards waypoint two 37k total distance.
    Nothing spotted to report.

  • WAYPOINT #3
19.37 i proceeded to the next waypoint 17k total distance and spotted nothing on the way which was unusual.

  • WAYPOINT #4
19.38 again I proceeded to the next waypoint it was a longish way 42k to be precise and again nothing to report in this sector.
So I am imagining certain sectors in Galileo are safe from Rogues.

  • WAYPOINT #5
This next waypoint was 17k away and I spotted a weapons platform which I belive belonged to Padua base so I could not do a full scan surrounding the base for fear of being attacked.
Also some Rogues I spotted in sector C5.

  • WAYPOINT #6
waypoint six 29k total distance away and moving slightly closer to Padua but still no reaction from the defense platforms which I was pleased about.
Spotted lots of Rogues in this area and kept 6.9k away from Padua base as i passed.

  • WAYPOINT #7
This waypoint was 14k away and easy to reach and the Galileo to Colorado jump gate was in distance.

  • WAYPOINT #8
41k away this one was and managed to get Colorado Jump Hole on my scanner in sector D6.
Lots of Navy and Rogues skirmishing as I flew close by.
Also a very important find of this mission was a wreck called Freespirit spotted in sector D5 middle left.

  • WAYPOINT #9
Towards waypoint 9 I carry on and Freeport 12 is only 13k away and I proceeded to finish this waypoint in sectors D/E 5/6 and was inside the dark matter cloud once more lots of Rogues Navy and Bounty Hunters this time having some play time .....ha ha.

  • WAYPOINT #10
Passed close by the Colorado Jump Gate on this next set of waypoints 7.2 k to be precise and as I passed I acknowledged some Navy pilots on the way.

  • WAYPOINT #11
Proceeding a little way ....approximately 48k the longest waypoint yet and finishing in sector G8 and did not come across anything at all.

  • WAYPOINT #12
44k waypoint twelve I finished in sector G5 with just a couple of Rogues spotted.

  • WAYPOINT #13
Making way back to Freeport 12 on this particular waypoint spotted some Bounty Hunters on my 27k journey and also had alot of Rogues and Navy buzzing around the two facilities and fighting vigorously.
Waved at a Universal Train and Escort too who flew by.

  • WAYPOINT#14
Proceeded to get docking permission from Freeport 12 by supplying my docking reference and getting the all clear.
Once docked I had to send the ship for some repairs from the dark matter cloud as my hull was slightly damaged and other components needed attantion too.

REPORT ANY HOSTILE ENCOUNTERS:Various hostile sightings but no serious ones to report and was not attacked by any of them as I evaded most confrontations.

DETAILS OF ANY ESCORT SHIPS OR OTHER SHIPS PRESENT:No escort ship was needed or supplied for my mission.

HOW LONG DID YOUR MISSION TAKE:The total time for the mission was approximately 30 minutes duration.

DETAILS OF ORGANISATION OR GOVERNMENT FOR INFO TO GO TO:No organisations or group will be supplied with this information it will be uploaded to the main server on Freeport 12 for detailed analysis.
