As the Minister is busy at this time I shall respond on behalf of Volgograd Industrial. After watching the instability in the Army's ranks over the past few years with the secession of Omega 49 to the Bretonians and the pacifistic outlook in Omega 3 when the IMG needed us most, it was a downhill trend. I do believe the tipping point for something to be done was the recent incident involving the IMG and the Army, a clear sign of disjointed Coalition. I think many of our pilots here would be willing and even welcome a change to better the Coalition.

Que bien Commissar Petrov! It seems you made the bold first few steps towards attempting to correct the path of the Coalition. Your criticisms, seem correct as I look at the circumstances presented now. During my days, I held my tongue and acted in accordance to the powers granted upon me by the Duma, and sought to act in parallel and democratically alongside the other high officials. I found the Accords the Coalition made with Bretonia to be questionable, albeit reasonable at the time they were signed. But over time as I rose from secretary to Minister, it became clear that the Sydney Accords were never going to be revisited. Instead, it signaled the beginning of an era of Coalition submission to the Monarchy, the very forces that late Premier Ben Warner had stood completely opposed to. The Premier stayed quiet even when all of his subordinates began to rebel or voice discontent. Simply refusing to address their concerns.

I applaud you Commissasr Petrov, for a rally cry to return to the old spirit of the Coalition, for I too wish to revive that. With my illness that removed me from power, it allowed me time to reflect on all that has come out of the Coalition and my role in it. The coalition that I tried fighting for and building, was a Coalition whose economy could provide for all of it's citizens and her allies , especially for her old allies such as the Mollies, Hessians and Dragons. The Coalition I sought to help build was one that truly fought for it's Revolutionary aims. Therefore I found it would require a strong Industrial foundation to build it's vast fleets, to send them across Sirius to spread the red banner of Revolution; emancipating all those oppressed by the Monarchies and Houses. But as it's industrial might grew, it's diplomacy and military ambitions did not. Our Coalition policies had to always fall in step with what the Premier had dictated behind closed doors, and it's revolutionary ambition was silenced.

I had to dance around the politicking of the Premier to not raise suspicion, instead of allowing discussion between our offices to act in a democratic manner to decide whats best. The Coalition needs the return of it's old spirit, to focus on what is important, what our SoL Ancestors had sought to bring to Sirius. It will need vast reform, to revert the reactionary direction it has taken, we can still make it stand as the beacon of hope for the workers of Sirius to see that they truly can dictate their own fate.

So Commissar Petrov, while the Duma may have decided to remove me from High Coalition offices, it did not mean that I have removed myself from the Coalition. I shall help you where it is needed.
