Trading Routes - Lambda 4 - 01-08-2020

What is popular now, I didn't trade for a long time

RE: Trading Routes - Groshyr - 01-08-2020

My route is

Premium scrap to Lorraine, Roanne Production Facility (~11.5k per unit)
Raw Hydrocarbons to Ile-de-France, Sarcelles shipyard (~6,8k per unit)
Molybdenum ore to the planet New Berlin (~12k per unit)
Aluminium ore to Bowex station in Omega-3 (~11,5k per unit)
Uncut diamonds to Manhattan (~10K per unit)

Yeah, I'd like to know too.

RE: Trading Routes - Markam - 01-08-2020

I've been back in disco for about a year.

With the exception of the ore routes I honestly have no clue on what is a good, easy to understand and profitable route. The economy as is, is not very user friendly, and you encounter situations where you need to take a filler commodity to one base or another.

For example, you can take deuterium from Exeter to New Berlin or something. New Berlin and all house capitals sell only alcohol and alcohol only sells in house. So you take that alcohol to somewhere that sells a good that sells on Exeter to complete the round trip.

I guess you can go to Oder shipyard, as I think engine comps sell on Exeter, though I find these 3 stop routes annoying for the measly (compared to Ore) profit and I'm not even sure if the route I just made up works.

If, as I suppose, you are only interested in maximum money gain vs time taken, then possibly the Aluminium/Gold Ore run is a viable option.

If you are like me and making fast money is not the aim, then there isn’t a popular run. Just pick up something cheap and sell it for more, somewhere else.

A good Trader never runs empty.

If you just want an honest way to generate credits that isn't dependent on mining:
  • Interspace Commerce ID
  • Nottingham - Freeport 1: Food Rations, 480Cr > 621Cr
  • Nottingham - Aland Shipyard: Robotics (NOT Robotic Hardware), 229Cr > 1,853Cr
  • Frankfurt - Planet Holstein: Fertilizer, 129Cr > 1967Cr
  • Repeat Ad Nauseum (sell at each location, buy listed commodity), roughly 22 minute loop, 3,603/unit

They sell their stocks fast because of the high demand for Bretonian sell points
Stay longer and you will get more chances to find money Smile
