Notice (ooRP):
This event does not affect the development of the Freelancer Discovery historical line, however, it contributes to the development of the RP and PvP skills of the players who participated in this event. We hope that the first event in the history of the EOS as a fraction will be successful. If the event will be canceled, this will be written here.

Background:
In 827 AS, Gallia officially became a Confederation, thereby provoking changes in the navy, police and intelligence. If the police are small, and most of their members fled to the Enclave, then the intelligence and navy were in a better position. So, the OCI became combat-ready at the time of its creation, since part of the fleet and former Council officers inevitably replenished the composition of the new Gallic intelligence.

Aware of the threat from the Enclave, the OCI decide to conduct a series of reconnaissance operations that will certainly develop into a full-scale war on the territory of the Enclave or the territory of the Minarchy. It all depends on which side the advantage will be on. EOS, well aware of the actions of the OCI, also became one of the participants in the expeditionary fleet, which quickly formed in Languedoc with the involvement of the ships of the Pamiers battlegroup. Aware of the risk of flying through a minefield, it was decided that the jump into Brittany would occur through the Tau-23.

Having flown some distance, the OCI forces meet face-to-face with their long-standing enemy: Gallic Royal Enclave. Due to the huge number of Royal troops in Brittany, the Enclave quickly responds to the appearance of the enemy, which is why the response fleet is formed immediately. And main enemies clashed with each other! Will the OCI agents be able to complete the task, or will the operation fail?

Primary event details:
This event, like any other, has an appropriate plan and coordination between two groups of players. We will try to cover everything in order.

The forces of the EOS and the OCI will begin their movement in Tau-23, from the side of the gate to the Languedoc. After that, the whole group must make a jump and move to the point indicated on the map. At the same time, the forces of the Enclave, as soon as they see the ships of the enemies in the chat, should advance in their direction.

Red - The specified area where the forces of both sides should arrive. Actually, this area acts as a battlefield.
Blue - The direction of movement of the Enclave fleet from its place of collection.
Orange - The direction of movement of the OCI fleet from its place of collection.

Secondary event details:
On the composition of the fleets. Since both fleets are a bit of an average for the total tonnage, we decided that it would be better if both groups had with them a flagship in the role of a cruiser, several bombers and fighters. With the development of events, new classes will appear.

Event rules:
Each event at Discovery carries with it a character of preparation, as well as rules that will allow you to play harmoniously and avoid conflicts between members of the community. Follow the rules below during the event:

If you want to participate in the event, you must register here.
Lack of free places does not mean that you will not be able to play. We will expand the list of ships or reduce it, if necessary.
Any persons who are not registered will be invited to watch or leave the battle. Exceptions are cases where the intervention of "extra persons" will contribute to balance (but with the same ID that both parties use at this event).
If your ship is shot down, then you can not return.
The radius of the battle is 10K from its center, in the role of which cruisers act or the space between them. A distance of more than 10K from the center of the battle is regarded as a retreat => you should not return. If the cruisers are destroyed, then the battle radius is determined at 10K from the bulk of the players.
Forbidden to use masking devices or jumpdrive devices.
This event does not cancel the server rules, and therefore, manners of courtesy and adequate behavior should be respected. Follow your role, not your personal motive, and you will be satisfied with the result.

The registration submission must contain the following:

Ship nickname.
Ship class.
Your side.

Notice (1): We apologize for those OCI/GRE factions that have not been indicated. Instead, consider yourself an indie player on one side. The main reason why the EOS and \*/ was indicated was the activity and the RP on both sides.
Notice (2): We are ready to accept criticism regarding this event, but we refuse to change anything except the number of ships from both fleets. If there are any changes, they will appear in the following events.
