-Active Ingame Born 800 A.S. Freeport 6 Tau-29 system Charlie born to the son of a mechanic and a waitress on the busy station of Freeport 6. He was a curious child and was often around helping his mother and father with their different roles on the station. At a young age he learned the art of bargaining from his father who routinely had to negotiate with pilots to use his mechanics services over the competitors of the station. While working with his mother he learned a bit about how to run a business and got to hear lots of stories from the many people who found themselves in the Freeport's many bars and restaurants. With all these many different experiences, ships, and stories, who wouldn't be interested to experience it themselves. As soon as he was old enough he inquired with the other mechanics and some of the patrons of the station on where someone like him could buy a ship. Most of the options he was given were WAY to expensive for him or quite a travel to even get to the seller. Eventually he stumbled on a shady character who gave him a good deal. Fly to Freeport 10 buy the ship from the mechanic there, and fly to New London. Charlie thought this was quite the deal, but it sounded to good to be true. The man was not much of a talker but, he noticed he routinely had to breathe heavily almost like he was out of breath. Charlie took the job, and headed towards Freeport 10 on a shuttle. While he was flying he marveled at the space around him little did he know the dangers that lurk around every rock.
-Inactive Both Forums and Ingame Encounter with two traders. Encounter with an unresponsive DSE vessel. Raid of New London. Discovery of a small installation.
-Inactive Lima Wing was a small wing within the Beta Squadron in the Rheinland Military. It was stationed out of Battleship Altenburg, and was made up of 3 members. Kurt Brauer, Emily Moor, and Ludwig Kohler.
Patrol around Rheinland and Sigmas. Patrol into Bering system Ludwig Kohler was born on Planet New Berlin in 804 A.S. to a family of Daumann employees. He grew up learning all about Rheinland and its proud military traditions. Ludwig was a smart boy and was quite the know it all when it comes to technology. When he was finally old enough he went and joined the Military. Not much of a fighter nevertheless he was sent to Battleship Altenburg and served as part of Lima Wing until in 824 A.S after chasing a group of Hessians into the nearby Omega 55 system were attacked by unmarked ships. He and Emily were forced to flee after loosing contact with Kurt as more enemies showed up. Soon after he was transferred to the Rheinwehr Marinestreitkräfte where he served for about 3 months until again he was transferred this time to Streitmächte von Rheinland. Here he did not do much as the leadership was quite lax compared to the previous divisions he was in. At this time the whole of Rheinland was splitting apart and Ludwig was forced to make a choice. Stay with the Imperial Regime or fight with the current government which he agreed with. And so, Ludwig one night snuck out of his barracks and left with his Wraith, and headed to the Frankfurt system hoping he would find someone to help him. He was found by a Federalist patrol and soon joined their ranks. He did his duty well and was always happy to lend a hand, though not the most daring or the most talented of the members, he did what was ordered of him. During his time in the Federalist movement, he met a woman named Hannah Hittel and formed a romantic attachment to. Little did Ludwig know that Hannah was part of the Budschuh movement and they had to keep their relationship quiet or risk them both getting in trouble. When the civil war ended, Ludwig found himself conflicted, as much as he was happy to have his homeland reunited, he didn't feel the same motivation he once had to fight for Rhienland and the Military. So, Ludwig packed his things and heading out for the stars looking for new prospects, he wanted to see all there was to offer in the sector, only problem was, how would he pay the bills...
Born on Planet Hamburg in 803 A.S. to a mother and father both professors at the University of Hamburg. As a result Kurt was able to get a very good education, and his mother wanted him to become a professor like her. Kurt however wanted to be out in the stars much to his mothers disapproval. At the age of 19 he applied to join the Rheinland Military, where he went on to serve on the Battleship Altenburg. Altenburg was stationed in Dresden to protect the area while Bautzen was abandoned and the Military prepared to leave the system for good. He was put in Lima Wing along with other new recruits, Emily Moor and Ludwig Kohler. After 2 years in Dresden, Kurt went missing while on patrol after chasing Hessian raiders to the nearby Omega 55 system. He has not been heard from since. Resurfacing as an agent for the Wild, he returned to Rheinland under the codename "Angler" working in the intelligence community of the Military. He is officially deemed dead by the Rheinland authorities, and its been 4 years since his "disappearance" but he couldn't be too careful. Kurt, even though leading a wing of fighters was not particurally amazing in his leadership role, and would sometimes remark to Emily she should be in command but he was by no means a bad commander, but he did not have the zeal of other leaders. Not much is known what happened while he was away, but when he came back Kurt embraced his new role, and worked hard to be good at his new job. As such he became quite good at getting in and out of places unnoticed, and gathering information was something he grew fond of doing, whether it be from willing or unwilling informants.
Born in 800 A.S, Emily grew up in a very turbulent time. With the Nomad war and the radical policy changes along with the aftermath of the short 1 year war, much of Emily's family life was constantly changing. Unlike her wing-man, Ludwig she did not grow up in a nice wealthy household, but one of more lower class standing. Her mother was a data analyst for Kruger and her father was a Rheinland Military pilot and one of the best in his year. He eventually settled down for a more modest job as a Construction ship pilot, as his daughter was born. Growing up on Planet Hamburg, Emily was a curious child and wanted to learn everything she could about flying. Much of her childhood was centered around her and her dad, as her mom was usually busy with Kruger. She learned quickly and became quite the good pilot at a young age, eventually she enrolled in the Military academy and like her father became one of the better pilots of her year. She was stationed on many ships in her early enrollment in the Military, but eventually was stationed on Battleship Altenburg and became quite close with her two wingmates. When the civil war broke out, Emily was torn, on what to do. Eventually she decided to stick with her current position as Lieutenant and continued with her duties. Thankfully the Civil war ended quite quickly and she now works as an Senior flight instructor aboard the Altenburg. That however does not mean she sits idle all day. |
