It had truly been ages since we last met. It was a pleasant occasion to see you again in Delta and catch up on recent events.
The offer you presented at the end of our conversation was as surprising as it was delightful! Of course I accepted with no hesitation. Nonetheless, some formalities are to be done.

I hereby apply for the position as head of the genetic research department in Med Force Enterprises. For your organisation, I am able to contribute years of first-hand experience in the fields of applied genetic research and bio-engineering, as well as the following skills:
The ability to not only work well under pressure and in teams, but also solo. Human pathology and anatomy. Data processing and analysis. Operating economically with available funds. The legal handling of patents in Sirius. Great knowledge of astral navigation. And, to some extent, surgical intervention on patients. I am eager to expand my skills in the latter, though.
