Nomad Cloaks - NonSequitor - 02-17-2020
I tried to buy a cloak for my Marduk at Altair Research Complex. I was unable to do so due to an "invalid ID".
I know Vagrants and K'Hara have their own cloaks that don't need batteries.
Do indies have their own version of the cloak? I assume so, because Nomad cloak batteries are sold at the Complex.

You may have tried to buy the Hybrid Cloak, which is only for Wild members. For Nomad cloaks visit Durr-Shurrikun

Are you using the Nomad ID? If it says invalid ID, then the cloaking device is likely (falsely) locked to the official IDs via Hook. This is likely an oversight from when most Nomad things were not open to indies. I suggest you submit a bug report regarding that or make a quick player request saying indies cannot buy the battleship cloaks.
Edit: And yes, the Hybrid cloaks are for Wild. Try buying the Nomad variant on Dur Shurrikun.

Welp... I'm still unable to purchase a Nomad Cloak - this time at Dur-Shurrikun.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Then it is probably locked to official factions via FLHook. This is a mistake as far as I can see. Best to submit a player request asking for a quick fix, maybe.
