SUBJECT TO CHANGE
A whole new look, similarities to Hades' model. I tried my best to get it as close as possible.

The current in-game Bergelmir is still smaller than the new mesh about 8% more or less, but still, the new mesh is "smaller" than any other bomber in-game.

nooo dont change the berg its so cute
instead rescale it up 500% and do the same with all the other bombers
while the model looks very rheinland it also looks like a SHF and it will most likely be rebalanced into an SHF down the road so please just dont feed them more of that cancer

Dunno how to feel about it, since the Sleipnir hasn't sold me on the new design yet. Is a really nice model, though the old Berg is one of those ships that just feels so out of place that I feel it belongs in Rheinland.
Probably just grumpy old player rambling, though.

I am sorry to say that the current in-game mesh is going to be replaced due to balance issues. Nevertheless, upscaling the model will not fix the problem either and on top of that, it will look ridiculously under detailed.
Discovery is on the road to take a new course in the story-line and in-game assets which includes: optimizing system star-spheres, ship/station models, fields, & etcetera. By doing this, we increase the mods' popularity, interest, or at least that is what we strive for.
I am recently new to the Development team. I know what I got myself into but I don't pay any mind to that area. I came to put my talent into good use and do what the game needs.

What I like about the Bergelmir is that it doesn't look like a bulked up Wraith and still can tell it's a Rheinland vessel.
Nice and detailed model though, I like it, but I'd avoid going for a shipline where each ship kinda looks the same apart from their size (without fatshaming ofc).

I could See it becoming a Bomber too but it Just Looks so much better than the Mjolnir and the bergel is Like okay looking at least

Felsvar, I like your style 'n skills, but try to pay more attention to the general design of each House – Rheinland (I mean lawful shipline, based on vanilla, only) is bout rough and square design. Quadratisch. Praktisch. Gut. Uhm… Yah. aerelm made pretty good model of "Sleipnir", but it looks like the illegitimate child of Rheinland and Liberty ship design – sleek 'n shiet, eh. Don't follow his thought, don't take these cool rough shapes from people who rly like the unique Rheinland design, please.
