Your Royal Highness,

I hope this message finds You well. Today I reach to Your Royal Highness with a rather trivial inquiry: my associates and me would like to establish a University in Uxeau-de-Bordeaux that, should our endeavour with finding a new suitable world for the crown, will move with us and serve as the basis for the educational and academic system of the Barony. To that end, I would humbly ask Your permission to name the University after Your Royal Highness, Prince Joseph, first of his name, of Noble House de France. Certainly, the tradition is to name the first University on the planet after le Roi, His name thrice blessed, but taking into consideration the grim reality the loyal population is facing, it is my sincere belief that naming the University after the active and industrious Crown Prince would give more hope and inspiration to the populace, and contribute to Your popularity.

I hope, that Your Royal Highness would not find this request too daring and audacious and would forgive our initiative should the request be deemed inappropriate.

I am looking forward to Your reply.

Long live the Kingdom, the King, and House de France!

Je vous prie d’agréer, Prince deFrance, l’expression de mes sentiments distingués.
Baron Fabian Montluc

Baron Montluc,

I knew there was a reason why I liked you. Establishing such an institution would indeed greatly benefit the citizens of Uxeau-de-Bordeaux. Not only would it help those who were displaced from their homes and academic studies during the fall of the Kingdom, it would also resemble some sense of normalcy that many people have no doubt wish for. Though the current necessities of an academic institute are lower on the totem pole. Resources coming down to the planet would no doubt be better spent on improving the housing situation, medical facilities, and a larger industrial and trade corridor within the space port itself. While I don't doubt that you company can't sustain multiple tasks at once, I do hope that you are putting forwards one hundred and ten percent and aren't cutting corners for a quick turn around. Faulty construction will lead to more deaths than necessary in the long run, and in the end would hurt both of our reputations.

As for your request, you have my permission to carry on as you deem fit, and that includes naming the university after myself.

I would like to reiterate on a previous transmission between us and the Enclave, seeing as we're in private channels. I would like you to establish your baronial guard. You don't need to openly call them that, they'll just be the corporate security force as described by the agreements with the Enclave, once their training is completed in proper with Enclave forces, I will lend you a few of my personal royal guards to continue their training, along with supplying them military grade equipment. In exchange for this cooperation between us, you will retain command of the forces to be used as you please, though upon my explicit request, and my explicit request alone, they become a fighting force for me and the Crown.

You should be well aware of the internal workings of nobility and the subtle games that they tend to play among themselves. Unfortunately these games are still being played, and to align with me will give you a powerful political ally in the days, and years to come, along with a seat at the table for a noble house such as yours. Take the time to think about this, Montluc.

Your Royal Highness,

It is reivigorating every time to see You supporting our endeavours. The concerns regarding the infrastructure are understandable, yet I assure Your Highness that our company is working hard on a new technological solution that will ease the burden of the lack of civilian building soon enough. In the meantime, we are working on the establishment of both the industrial infrastructure and goods, as well as necessary infrastructure for the population to support the industry. We do not expect the University to be of grandeur reputation from the very start, thus we will allocate but the necessary premises for it to function. However, we intend to expand it as the time passes and to that end we will use the vast land of Bordeaux to create the academic town around the educational institution.

The matter of Baronial Guard was and still is a tricky one. As an ex-officer I fully understand the concerns of the Enclave who are to preserve the stability and do not give the local nobility the precedent. As a noble, however, I do see the need to some privileges of the status coming with a fief. We did not run from the Confederation to be confined in our noble rights, as Your Royal Highness promptly noted in previous communication with the Enclave. For now, the Baronial Guard's legal status is as of corporate security. The change of status de facto changes little, and I would certainly welcome Your gracious offer of assistance. Be sure, noble Prince Joseph, that you have full support of House Montluc and we will back your efforts in reclaiming the throne of Gallia for the greater good of all Gauls. I believe, that the Enclave would support Your Highness as well, yet the current predicament preventing them from giving You greater power is the unknown fate of your father, King Charles, his name thrice blessed. While this is unlikely to change in the nearest future, MAE and our backed UNN media service are at your disposal and we will be ready to boost your popularity as the heir to the throne of Gallia. I do not know of the status of other King's offsprings, yet I believe the popularity among the common people and the army can certainly boost your position whatever the position of the other Crown Princes and Princesses is. We took some initiative and developed some propaganda posters for You. Your Royal Highness would make us a compliment by using them at own discretion, and, if You give the permission, we will use in UNN reports on the situation. Whatever the need might be, favourable media coverage of any events is at your service, Prince Joseph.

Je vous prie d’agréer, Prince deFrance, l’expression de mes sentiments distingués.
