Sigma situation

We are observing the events of Sigma war unfolding, GMG’s refusal to partake in division of Sigma 21 had not gone unnoticed. It is also notable that The Order was not contacted or asked for aid in latest reprisal operations aimed to remove Rheinland’s aggressors from Guild sovereign space. Nonetheless we are glad that you were successful without us.

It is the wish of The Order to continue to nurture alliance with the Gas Miner’s Guild and to keep supply lines and trade between our territories open. Overwatch inquires into the current situation with Sigma 59 and future plans of the Guild in regards to both Rheinland regular and irregular forces, as well Outcasts further to galactic north. Bilateral technology exchange and increased sales of Kemwer assorted munitions to reinforce GMG’s position are still on the table.

Grand Admiral Golanski,

It is most reassuring that The Guild's friends in the Order may continue to express their concern for the plight of the Sigma Systems and your message is most gratefully received.

The Federal Republic of Rheinland's invasion of the Sigma Systems continues unabated and GMG stands its ground. In particular, a number of illegal installations have been successfully deconstructed in recent months and a new Guild installation, Mekong Station, has been established in orbit of Planet Saigon and partially fortified. Mekong Station was built with the intention of acting as a forward force projection platform for Guild operations in the system and, in the future, as a base of operations in regards to the development of Planet Saigon and exploitation of a nearby asteroid field rich in uranium deposits. The Order enjoys docking privileges on this base and will for as long as it stands.

Paramilitary efforts have met our objectives thus far, but it demands great effort and is becoming more clear as time goes on that The Guild's lack of heavy assets is presenting significant challenges. While GMG's trademark snubcraft strike groups continue to be its mainstay, in the wide open spaces of Sigma-21 they regrettably lack some of the effectiveness they enjoy in the Crow Nebula, and larger, stronger targets are harder and harder to neutralise.

The current, most pressing target is an established illegal installation in Sigma-21 that has only just been detected. Removing it with T-493-B "Kaichou" GMG Bombers, as powerful as they are, is a considerable hurdle. If The Order might be in a position to bring its firepower to bear in order to assist in this matter, this help would be most gratefully received and go a long way in cementing the Gas Miners Guild sovereignty in the Sigma systems.

Respectfully,

Keiji Namura

Grand Admiral Golanski,

It is a pleasure to inform you that the most recently discovered illegal installation has been successfully removed by The Guild paramilitary.
