Repairs and adjustments

It had been almost two months since the battle of Omicron Sigma where the Armageddon,
escorted by an allied fleet, made the journey to Order space proper. While the losses had been significant during the battle,
they had been able to protect the civilians and escort the Armageddon through unharmed.

Ever since then, the Order had been working hard around the clock to bring the Armageddon into an operational state
and familiarizing themselves with the technology onboard.
The nature of how the Order got its members proved essential in this process, brave men and women from all over Sirius
had left their houses over the years to join in the fight against the Nomads, including some Bretonians.

With the expertise of their former Bretonian colleagues the Order was able to repair the ship fairly efficiently,
though some complications were expected.
It was soon concluded that not all aspects of the vessel would be able to be properly
maintained without access to materials that were simply inaccessable at the moment.

In order to ensure the Armageddon would be able to perform at peak efficiency the decision was made
that certain aspects of Bretonian tech would have to be replaced with Order equivalents, keeping limitations in mind.
The engineers and technicians went through great efforts to ensure no systems that were linked to eachother were incompatible,
a time consuming process indeed.

While the science divisions did their work to make the ship operational, Order agents were instructed in how the vessel opperated,
where each point of interest was located and how to best manouver inside the large vessel.
With over two decades of experience with mostly relatively small Osiris class battleships,
a significantly larger vessel such as the Armageddon proved quite a challenge to get adjusted to.

Meanwhile, onboard Fort Catharge.

With a small sigh Xander looked out of the window of his office on Fort Catharge,
the Armageddon visible with several repair ships buzzing around it as they did their work.
"So much has happened since we first detected the Armageddon docked at Aland Shipyard, to both us and the universe."
The room remained silent for a moment before a young man, the only other person in the room, spoke up:
"Indeed sir, the Armageddon has had quite the adventure just to get here."

Xander chuckled, his assistants reaction was to be expected, albeit a bit shortsighted.
"You are correct, but you forget to consider what has happened in the rest of the sector.
The Gallic war ended after serious damage was done to Bretonia, both New London and the glassing of Leeds.
Don't forget Leeds was the homeworld of one of the Orders greatest heroes; mister Trent."

The young man nodded while picking up a datapad, seemingly going through new information that had just been transmitted.
"Indeed sir, not to mention the end of the Gallic war when the Council overthrew the government,
an act which no doubt greatly aided our goal of legitimacy in Gallia."

Xander nodded and turned away from the window to face his assistant and raised his glass in recognition.
"Right you are, still. I can't help but wonder how many lives would have been saved if the Bretonians still had the Armageddon,
or the Leviathan as they named it, during those battles. It really is quite a technological marvel."

The young mans eyes lit up, a cheeky grin on his face as he handed over the datapad towards Xander and said:
"Not as many as we will sir, we just received confirmation that she's ready."

Xander raised an eyebrow as he took the datapad and scanned through its contents before turning back to face the window,
seeing the repairships fly away from the Armageddon.

The Colonel couldn't help but smile, between working on the Armageddon, the diplomatic relations with the 5th| fleet and
the Zagazig retrofit he was glad to see one of his projects being completed.
"Well then officer, lets go notify the rest of the Overwatch."
