As you are well-aware, the Frei Unioners have been increasingly threatening to our operations. Their close relationship with the Corsairs caused the lucrative Blood Diamond trade to collapse, the Dawson cells were particularly hurt by this development.

Fort Diamond was built to re-establish that trade and bring economic opportunities to the Tanner Belt. The vicious Liberty Navy responded immediately by dispatching ships from the 1st Fleet along with gunboats from the 5th Fleet with orders to find the trade depot and destroy it but our forces successfully ambushed and destroyed them.

These losses smartened them up and the local muscle was involved, the Frei Unioners. Unlike the Liberty Navy they are obviously far more familiar with the Tanner Belt and managed to find the modular station. They sent us a message announcing the deployment of warships to destroy our station. We tried to dissuade them by pointing out that this station is in no way threatening to their interests. However they are strangely adamant and are not even negotiating, probably because the destruction of Fort Diamond is part of a kill contract.

That means that any and all Blood Diamond trade plans we have will be cancelled again as we have no intention of endangering your smugglers and dealers. The Frei Unioners in the past few months have stolen and refused to return our old Spyglass flagship, tried to subvert and infiltrate the Orange Alliance via their Maltese contacts and now they are deploying warships to directly attack a member of this Alliance, after the Liberty Navy failed to do it on their own. We hope that in the face of this mounting aggression and betrayal we can count on your continuing support.

Hello old friend,
I see and understand your concerns about the situation involving Blood Diamond trade... Unfortunately im not sure if we are able to provide manpower to aid this situation. And even if we would put the effort into it... whats its worth for us really. Not the easiest territory and we got other things to take care of, this conflict of yours is not really our conflict. We all fight a war ... but we cannot fight each others.
