Subj: Unwelcome in Alaska
Good day,
I am contacting you due to the unfortunate circumstance in Trans Alaska Corridor, Alaska System. A Naval Captain named Lunch I mean Lynch threatened deadly force on my vessel for simply idling within the Corridor. Several times he asked me to leave and his "thirteen years of experience" and what not. Dude sounds like a real charmer... Not. Anyways please update this "veteran" member of the 5th Fleet would ya? Thanks.
[25.04.2020 05:31:00] Ms.Holiday: I dont think I have ever heard of Sarah Evans. Grey Evans sure. Who was she Captain?
[25.04.2020 05:32:08] 5th|LNS-Sarah.Evans: Lynch: She was a Fifth Fleet pilot who died at New London. This ship was commissioned to honor her sacrifice.
[25.04.2020 05:32:47] Ms.Holiday: To name an Overlord after a fallen one is nobel. What seperates her from other men and women who died?
[25.04.2020 05:33:47] 5th|LNS-Sarah.Evans: Lynch: Why else do we christen ships after fallen heroes? Evans was notable within the fleet, and we felt she deserved-
[25.04.2020 05:33:50] 5th|LNS-Sarah.Evans: -recognition.
[25.04.2020 05:34:07] Ms.Holiday: Dont take it for disrespect. I just wish to know more about her.
[25.04.2020 05:34:43] 5th|LNS-Sarah.Evans: Lynch: Perhaps you can learn more over the Neural Net. To another point, I'm afraid there's an issue here.
[25.04.2020 05:35:02] Ms.Holiday: What is your issue Captain.
[25.04.2020 05:35:25] 5th|LNS-Sarah.Evans: Lynch: Alaska is still a secured system, ma'am, and I'm afraid the presence of corporations doesn't permit the Police to enter.
[25.04.2020 05:35:44] Ms.Holiday: Ah, you must be a rookie Captain.
[25.04.2020 05:36:00] Ms.Holiday: Alaska is open to a certain few these days since the President changed.
[25.04.2020 05:36:18] 5th|LNS-Sarah.Evans: Lynch: I'm not, ma'am. Thirteen years serving, and I'm well aware of our code of operations here in Alaska.
[25.04.2020 05:36:33] Ms.Holiday: Ageira, DSE, Universal Shipping and Liberty Police are authorized to enter.
[25.04.2020 05:36:43] Ms.Holiday: Ten years mean nothing when new orders are given daily.
[25.04.2020 05:37:02] 5th|LNS-Sarah.Evans: Lynch: Thirteen, ma'am.
[25.04.2020 05:37:02] Ms.Holiday: Perhaps you can use the Neural Net like you rudely suggested I do.
[25.04.2020 05:37:16] Ms.Holiday: Karam is a bitch.
[25.04.2020 05:37:27] Ms.Holiday: //Karma*
[25.04.2020 05:37:36] 5th|LNS-Sarah.Evans: Lynch: I'm afraid the permit of corporations does not immediately extend to the Liberty Police, ma'am.
[25.04.2020 05:37:43] 5th|LNS-Sarah.Evans: Lynch: I'm still going to need you to leave.
[25.04.2020 05:37:51] Ms.Holiday: Thats a big negative ghost rider.
[25.04.2020 05:37:54] Changing screen mode=full
[25.04.2020 05:38:09] Ms.Holiday: Check the laws.
[25.04.2020 05:38:15] 5th|LNS-Sarah.Evans: Lynch: I'm permitted to use force if necessary, ma'am. I'm asking you politely.
[25.04.2020 05:38:28] Ms.Holiday: I am the Chief of Police. I order you to check the Laws.
[25.04.2020 05:38:38] Ms.Holiday: You will find what you need there.
[25.04.2020 05:38:40] 5th|LNS-Sarah.Evans: Lynch: You have no authority over me, Chief. I'm sorry.
[25.04.2020 05:38:51] 5th|LNS-Sarah.Evans: Lynch: Please leave.
[25.04.2020 05:38:51] Ms.Holiday: Then do what you have to do. But Law wise I am in the clear.
[25.04.2020 05:41:25] 5th|LNS-Sarah.Evans: Lynch: My apologies, ma'am. It appears the update to the laws did not highlight the clause you pointed out.
[25.04.2020 05:41:52] Ms.Holiday: Im looking right at it...
[25.04.2020 05:42:20] 5th|LNS-Sarah.Evans: Lynch: Your role requires you to. I simply follow orders via the chain.
[25.04.2020 05:42:35] 5th|LNS-Sarah.Evans: Lynch: Again, I apologize.
[25.04.2020 05:43:39] Ms.Holiday: Well since that is settled. I have some paper work to get to. so If you dont mind. Keep the noise down would ya?
[25.04.2020 05:44:22] 5th|LNS-Sarah.Evans: Lynch: Very well, ma'am. We will likely be naking headway towards Prudhoe.
[25.04.2020 05:44:28] 5th|LNS-Sarah.Evans: // making*
[25.04.2020 05:44:55] Ms.Holiday: Proceed.
[25.04.2020 05:45:05] 5th|LNS-Sarah.Evans: Lynch: Send over the emergency channels should you require the Evans' assistance. Attachments:

Subject: RE: Unwelcome in Alaska
Good morning, Chief Holiday,
My name is Mark Ferguson, current standing commanding officer of the Liberty Navy's Third Fleet, and advising officer to the Admiralty of the Liberty Navy Fifth Fleet.
First and foremost, I must thank you for remaining calm and collected during this exchange. I won't elaborate on what may have happened had the events been different, so thank you.
Captain Robert Lynch is indeed a thirteen year veteran of the Navy, originally an exchange from the Third Fleet to the Fifth following the deactivation of much of our combative assets. I must ensure you that Captain Lynch was merely doing his job as he saw fit to. As the senior-most officer of the Liberty Navy on scene, he has by law the authority to act as he must. I must also remind you that the Liberty Navy is an autonomous branch of the Liberty Armed Forces, and as such, with all due respect, is not required to follow orders from non-Military personnel, even the Chief of the Liberty Police, Incorporated. Please remember that the Liberty Police are, for all intents and purposes, a corporation, and in cases where criminals are not apparent, are still subordinate to the Liberty Code.
With all of that in mind, I will concur that Captain Lynch was acting out of line, as Liberty law does permit your corporation to operate within the Trans-Alaskan Corridor. While all Liberty Military personnel are required to be kept abreast of changes to the Liberty Code, the amendment to allow Liberty Police corporate vessels within the corridor was not made openly apparent, and I believe that is what sparked this confrontation.
I will notify Captain Lynch's superiors, and recommend that a warning be placed in his portfolio. I will also notify the rest of the Fifth Fleet's personnel of the amendment to the Liberty Code that permits Liberty Police corporate vessels to operate within the corridor.
Thank you, ma'am, and have a nice day.
Mark Ferguson
Admiral
5th Fleet, Advisory
