I don't intend to tire you with all the details that led up to this point, but suffice to say there's only one side of the conflict that our company can realistically expect to enjoy a future in.

We've been discussing the strategic situation of the democratic forces, and it seems there's motion among the Gallic Confederate forces. Understandably, there's concern over the Zurich corridor to what is now a chaotic three-way situation between Democratic, Monarchist and Hessian forces.
We implore your company to act now in the interest of our old bonds, to advise a cautious approach to the military forces of your house. I have no doubt the monarchists have been reaching out as well, although by all reports they intend to pursue economically favoritist and potentially isolationist policies, and I think I'm right in saying that the partnership between our companies exceeds anything the monarchist-leaning companies have managed to find in Gallia. While I understand the desire to keep open trade between the houses, that's not something any party can realistically guarantee at this time.

I am not sure what strings you would be able or willing to pull, but at the very least we are in a situation in which we must reach out to all our old partners.
