I have been hving some serious lagg issues, but I believe that is the fault of my interwebs so I will not bore you with details.
What I am wondering is if you can make OpenSP work on 4.85.3 at first I jst accepted it as soething that will be fixed in the Final, but now im stuck with nothing to do and Ive heard of other people using it. So is there some trick, or am I stuck playing Fallout 3 and Oblivion till my ISP decides to lookup the term "customer satisfaction"

start a singleplayer game is the openSP mode

Not exactly sure what your asking....
Can 4.85.3 be made to let players play the SP Campaign? No, with 4.85, SP Campaign is no longer supported with all the changes made to the ships encountered in the campaign.
Can 4.85.3 be made to let players play Open SP? Yes, Open SP is automatically activated with the mod. All you have to do is select the repsheet and starting money,
or go to DATA/MISSIONS/M13/M13.ini and change it manually
Reps = Act_SetRep = Player, _____________
Money = Act_AdjAcct = ######

I already knew all of this, Ive been around teh block more than once. But with the new mod as soon as I press NEW Game it loads for a second then crashes to desktop.... I thought everyone had this problem...

It happened for me once, try setting your starting location for a vanilla system like NY, that should fix the problem.

Main problem I see with OpenSP. Ship undocking you cant undock anything larger than a frieghter.

That sounds like it could be right, problem is Im stuck at my mum's work until she is done with a meeting I may be home 7-8 o'clock. Ill be forum lurking until then when I may be able to try.
About your problem, Raiken, try holding the trusters during the loading screen after you undock.
