Yokai - Faction Information - Printable Version

Yokai are for the most part elite warriors of the Blood Dragons. They are descendants of Royal Guard families that were protecting Shogun Hideyoshi.
Many of the Royal Guards who gave lives protecting the Shogun are remembered until this day and many songs were written to honor their names.

The Sakura coup that took place in 321 A.S. is still what drives the Yokai to fight, the reminiscence of this treacherous act carved into their souls.
Yokai as a group was formed in 821 A.S. by a group of warriors from Kyoto. Warriors whose task was disruption and infiltration of Kusarian Corporations.

Attacks on Samura and Naval Forces were planned thoroughly with a mandatory backup plan. For infiltration purposes only the most educated Yokai were sent to complete those particular missions.

In 827 A. S., the interest in Yokai has risen among the Dragons from Kyoto. Yokai are currently led by a warrior named Yokubo, often addressed as Master Yokubo. Many of the Yokai warriors have the same spirit as the old Dragons - The Rising Sons of Kusari.

Golden Chrysanthemums- Although our ideologies differ, our goals are the same. The Dragons and GC were friends for many years. The supplies they’re providing are highly appreciated. The sisters are to be treated with respect despite their addiction.

The Order- An Alliance forged during the Nomad War, to this day both The Order and the Blood Dragons are working together in eliminating the Nomad threat that is still present even though the great war is over. Joint operations have proven to be effective in containing the threat coming from the Arch in Tohoku, yet we must work even harder as the enemy never sleeps.

GMG - The Guild is known for its stance towards the scum that is Samura. Being the largest fuel supplier that we have, Yokai and the rest of the Dragons are always ready to assist the Guild when it is needed. The relation between Yokai and the Guild is to be kept secret.

The Bundschuh - Despite being far from each other, we both share the same allies such as The Order and the Gas Miners Guild as well as similar goals.

The Maquis - True Gallic rebels with a sad story. Not much is known about their group except the fact that they’re, like us, targeting Gallic Corporations. Their increased presence was recorded in the Tau-53. There are rumors that some of their bravest pilots are even targeting the Gallic Station in Tau-53 itself. Yokai are looking positively towards the Gallic rebel faction.

Red Hessians - The Alpha and Omega of the Omegas, the Hessians being friends with The Bundschuh are to be treated positively.

Lane Hacker - The Dragons used to have very good relations to Hackers due to them supplying the Chrysanthemums. Yokai are interested in reviving the aforementioned relations with them in the near future.

Junkers - For many years Junkers have been helpful to the Blood Dragons. Their supply shipments are of great importance to Yokai.

Outcasts - Only tolerated because of our sisters. The Cardamine going through Kusari is only to be transported to GC bases. Outcasts caught smuggling Cardamine through Kusari with the intention to only use it as a highway are to be sanctioned.

The Coalition - Although they’re deep in the Omegas, Yokai do not agree with their oppressive ways. Their attempts to spread their influence in Kusari will not be taken lightly. No hostile actions will be taken against them, but be alert. Any capital ships of Coalition origin seen in Kusari shall be sanctioned.

BHG - Brainless mercenaries. They’ll do anything for money, be ready to open fire upon encountering them.

Farmers Alliance - They oppose the foreign corporations, but their ties to Samura will be their downfall.

Kishiro - The race between Samura and Kishiro is a close one. Once Samura is fully eliminated, Kishiro will be the next main target.

Liberty Rogues - Libertonian pirates that on occasion cross the border. Yokai are not fond of them, but at the same time do not care about Rogues unless their visits become more frequent.

Interspace Commerce - The mother of corporations. Although from Liberty, Interspace Commerce has ties literally everywhere. They’re to be targeted and extorted without question.

Corsairs - The Corsairs are a nuisance, they’re savages that know only how to pirate and smuggle. The Artifact trade through Kusari has become a noticeable issue, they’re to be stopped by means necessary.

Hogosha - Known for controlling the Artifact smuggling ring in Kusari. They have huge influence in Samura and Kishiro ranks as well as the very Kusari Government. They are heavily dependent on Corsairs. Same treatment shall be applied to them as to the Corsairs.

KNF/KSP - Enemies of the Dragons, mainly influenced by Samura. Even though many Naval pilots have a change of heart and swap sides, they’re to be treated as enemies regardless.

Samura - Treacherous scum. The very reason why we live in an exile. Shogun Hideyoshi’s death shall not be in vain. The Sakura Coup shall forever be remembered as why Samura must be annihilated.

Aoi Iseijin - Nomad controlled Humans currently occupying Tekagi’s Arch. The are to be engaged on sight, no compromise.
