This unofficial event is not a part of official story development but continues the story of Commandant de Lusignan and RNS Renaissance. You may read more about it by the following link.

Background

In the dawn of new Gallic government - the Confederacy, battleship Renaissance alongside RNS Rocroi left their duty and have hidden in the clouds of their designation systems. While RNS Rocroi being newer, battleship Renaissance is an old Charlemagne-class with more limited autonomy than its granddaughter of Richelieu-class. Moreover, due to outdated alloys, it could catch the attention of the Confederal forces even in such a place as the clouds in question. The crew itself, despite being loyal to the captain, required vacations after so long duty shift. Considering this and avoid the possible detection of the warship it was decided that RNS Renaissance have to head to the Gallic Hebrides - even though the route is dangerous.

It's been a half of a year since Renaissance successfully hidden in Senlis clouds, using it's dense nebula and asteroid field as a natural cloak from long-range radars. However, a random patrol detected the battleship and used a chance to request reinforcement to the position of RNS Renaissance. Having the spotting of a Valor-type vessel, the Parisian Assembly commenced the operation "Witch Hunt" to sweep the asteroid fields and nebulas with limited radar functionality for the possible presence of deserters, defectors, and Enclave forces with the forces sufficient for engaging and eliminating any such findings right off the bat.

Event rules are the following:
  • Only applied players can participate in this event.

  • Only LF, HF or VHFs are allowed in this event.

  • The best position for a proper fight is 3E, thus I ask the participators to keep within this quadrant and do not leave it.

  • However, running out of the entire event's zone (2E-2F-3E-EF) means your death for this event. Same to those who cloaked out.

  • No hugging of the battleship (the one that will stay in the vicinity to event area) or any other objects.

  • Once you docked - you dead.

Important note:

When all players of the opposite side will be destroyed, the battleship will start charing a jump drive to jump to Provence system. If the winner is Confederal forces, please, do not disrupt the charge.

Should you be willing to make a message dump about this event - you are free to RP that you damaged the ship but it escaped (not via jumping away with a jump drive). In the case, if you are not interested in RPing it - just leave the area.

The consequences of this event will be described in the new part of my character's biography after the event and in description (backstory) of the second part.

Thanks all who will participate in advance.
