Commencement

The following communication is strictly classified, and only accessible by the Order Overwatch's Science Division for R&D purposes. Any unauthorized breaches shall be considered as a hostile act, thereby treated as such.

INTRODUCTION PHASE - Central database of the DAMASCUS, containing the mandatory CONSTRUCTION COPIES behind developments and manufacturing of various assets, that are mostly the cause of successful construction, possessing detailed documentation & research. Any developments must be noted, therefore update in DAMASCUS'S DB for coordination, better organization of future ambitions. This construction log is classified - among the OSD personnel. The current log is reserved for comprehensive necessities, used as the basis for further constructions and upgrades. It may be allocated throughout the OSD DIVISION for R&D needs, enlargement of secondary assets after the DAMASCUS station.

PURPOSE: Project DAMASCUS was commenced to congregate competent scientists upon another installation, due to the potentials to investigate highly classified matters in the deep omicrons. Despite the Order's possession of several space installations for research, it's a priority to enlarge its assets further to develop available technology to be practically used beyond the standard technology. Due to the rising Nomad and Infested threat, any clever acts must be considered. Without development, there's no space to prevail in current circumstances. DAMASCUS shall be used as a weapon against the existing threats. Construction of the installation must be swift and organized, as we're aware of how ready Nomads are to disrupt anything they could consider as an additional threat. Upon successful construction, laboratories shall be immediately opened for various divisions, with many objectives. Which could include the vast construction of advanced technology, up to the creation of ambitious projects with particular ideas.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Research conducted must remain as classified property of the DAMASCUS, alongside with THE ORDER OVERWATCH. Technology may not be shared without prior permission from the relevant parties. Scientists must receive an invitation from the mentioned parties, before commencing the recruitment process. Participants are exclusively part of OSD, with possible exceptions under specific terms. Everyone partaking in the project DAMASCUS must follow the given orders, aimed firstly for the expansion of the available assets to create comfortable conditions for analysis of matters.

ENTRY LOG -- will keep the track of documentation relevant for further construction of available assets, not the allocation of research assignments, which include other secured neural-net channel. The log is focused on a detailed presentation of specific elements, each serving its purpose. Whilst the documentation is part of the log, CORE UPGRADE phases shall be noted alongside with the documentation. According to this document, it can be served as a manual for recruits, defining the purpose and construction of each element. It'll remain under the property of the Order's Science Division, whilst the project is under the leadership of the Lt., Dr. Raphael Chandler.

Cargo Bays
Space installations require particular capacities to uphold any sort of data, whether it heeds to storaging of scientific analyzed matters, to high-capacity matters for manufacturing and engineering grounds. Connections of hopper tank plating with inner hull and with inner bottom shall be supported by a longitudinal girder. When a hopper tank is not fitted, the inner hull plating shall be supported by a longitudinal girder below the inner bottom plating and the inner bottom plating shall be supported by scarfing brackets.

Weapons Systems and Platforms
The shield generator doesn't solely play the role in protection of the entirety of the installation, whilst it reduces the strike damage. Docking Bays
In order for the components, crews, and supplies to be delivered to the Damascus Research Station, a system needs to be in a place that allows vessels to dock, or attach, to the structure. When the systems are activated, they are fired in a direction opposite to that which the pilot wishes to move. If the pilot wants to move to the left, he or she fires the Reaction Control System on the right, and if the desired movement is to the right, the system is fired on the left. The ship travels towards the DoB with a force that is equal and opposite to the Reaction Control System firings. The docking vessel stops within 50 meters of DoB. From that position, the ship waits for clearance from Mission Control to continue. When the command is given to continue, the Reaction Control System has activated again and the Space Shuttle closes in on DoB at very minor speed, until it reaches a distance of about 9 meters. There, the Space Shuttle stops again and waits for a brief period to assure the ongoing process is correctly flowing. The pilot makes sure they can see the docking target clearly and fine-tune the alignment of the Space Shuttle with the docking target. When the vessel experiences force of the tractor beam that was initiated to fasten up the process, and assures docking with the bay — Connecting in Space maneuvers the space ship and makes contact with the docking ring. The end of this process is discernible upon entering installations bay, disabling the tractor beam, and accordingly aligning the ship to initiate smooth Gravitational Docking.

Laboratories & Transit Network
The laboratories and operational components of the Damascus R. S. have been assembled and are up and running. Damascus Research Station facilities represent a wide array of internal and external structures and devices designed to support a variety of investigations. These laboratories often provide attachment locations for individual investigations or provide an assortment of research equipment that can be used by different research teams in furthering their own experiments. This section is divided into two areas to highlight those facilities that are available inside the habitable volume of the Damascus Research Station as well as those that are external and open to the space environment. Additions and changes to the makeup of these facilities occur over time and the remainder of this section provides an overview of current capabilities and locations. All of the agencies among the Order recognize the importance of leveraging Damascus Research Station as a research platform to encourage, inspire, and ultimately motivate today’s agents to pursue careers in math, science, and engineering. Advancing our knowledge in the areas of human physiology, biology, material, and physical sciences and translating that knowledge to health, socio-economic and environmental benefits for the Order, is another common goal of the Order: returning the knowledge gained in space research for the benefit of society. Finally, everyone is unified in their goals to apply knowledge gained through Damascus Research Station research in human physiology, radiation, materials science, and engineering to enable future space exploration missions. Equipment accessible within the facilities is acquired through engineers conducted within engineering facilities on the Akabat and the Fort Carthage. Tools are used for experimental projects prior to the official announcement of the commencement of the projects. Data remains classified among the personnel and agencies of the Order Overwatch. Matters are utilized inside the laboratories and specialized chambers. Construction Documentation
