The Omicron Lights - Loyola - 05-25-2020

10 soldiers of the Outcast honorary guard would wait at hangar for the arrival of supposedly an honored guest. A little to the side there's a small collective brass band, also in parade uniform. Those guys not used to play together quite right as the orchestra was formed just recently exactly for the purpose of entertainment of the rare guests that arrive here. Enma just really hoped that they won't butcher the melody big time. Loyola has also ordered to bring additional lighting and even the red carpet. She was bored enough of waiting to order people around like this.

It's not often soldiers get to wear parade uniform and use ceremonial decorative weaponry at the secret and heavily guarded object like Corsica. Not that they are forced to stay in waiting for the arrival of some Gallic guests important to Dona Loyola. While the business with the Gallic Royalists started to roll slowly, visits between them are not exactly common.

Security officer just reported that Lynx and 2 Outcast escort fighters have entered the vicinity of Corsica. Enma acknowledged and hanged up almost instantly, slowly walking to the hangar where the ceremony is allegedly supposed to be prepared.

As the second gateway opened and Lynx rolled into the hangar, Enma would enter the hangar. That was perfectly timed and Outcast is really satisfied with this, no time is being wasted.

— Present, ARMS!

She commands the soldiers, while her voice shook a little, not like she used to give commands to infantry personnel on her own. This station now needs a ceremonial officer too.

Omicrons - Corsica

"I just hope everything will be quiet, without necessary surprises. You never know what is Loyola going to do this time..." Lauren pretty much said to herself, but also the one soldier accompanying her in her precious Lynx fighter. There were so many glances at something so unnatural as Lynx passing by Malta, especially when she was shot at by Maltese few days ago. She just hoped nobody will be a trigger-happy idiot who would love to claim the bounty or kill the Gaul just for his own satisfaction. Soon she entered the security perimeter around Corsica and was advised to use one specific hangar. She left the ship as soon as she landed, her guard jumping off as well, wearing a marine battlesuit. La'Row wore just her enclave uniform, former uniform of the Royal Navy, once a proud army. She just tilted her head and raised her eyebrow seeing the surprise Loyola managed to prepare for her. She did hate it, she did hate all the surprises and public stuff. She immediately started walking to Loyola and grabbed her shoulder as soon as she got close enough, trying to turn their back to people in the hangar."What the hell is this supposed to mean, Loyola... You couldn't bring more people to hangar could you? It's just a security risk, for me, for everybody... Meh, forget it, I forgot you like to present yourself in public, something I try to avoid in order to keep my mission smooth and running..." Lauren whispered, petting Loyola's shoulder.

RE: The Omicron Lights - Loyola - 05-26-2020

As Lauren would step onto the red carpet, orchestra starts playing, with ceremonial guard maintaining the perfect line, it looked almost as Enny imagined. At the moment it was seen a little too surrealistic, but she just wanted everything that she dreamt of as a little girl to become true. Finally, she's slowly getting to organize grandiose ceremonies. This one is being a rather modest first attempt on those.

Loyola took Lauren petting her shoulder as some clear invitation for an easy hug, which she performed almost instantly, nicely balancing the pressure of her touch, making it feel almost ideal. While purely intellectually Lauren's concerns are understandable, Enny did not feel any sort of alarmism La'Row expressed. She would lean her head a little forward and to the side, wanting to whisper back with a quite open and wide smile at her face.

— Ah, you need to learn to relax. You shall not be worried, everything here is under control... As for people at the hangar, I told them to prepare a ceremony to meet my old friend Josseline Micheaux.

Loyola then would move back a little, looking at Lauren's face with a quite mild and friendly stare for a few moments, Enma then spoke, now more loudly. Not that it mattered anyway, as an orchestra would keep booming and it was still only La'Row who would be able to hear her.

— If you are hungry there are a couple of not bad restaurants. There are lounges and other cool places as an alternative...

Outcast started to offer, not quite having a plan of her own. At the moment it started to look awkward and she hoped that Lauren would take a bit of initiative.

Maybe it wasn't that badly thought, but still Lauren prefered her typical and shady behaviour of former ONI agent. Lauren didn't know what to think about the hug and orchestra playing in the hangar bay, confusion was apparent but she tried to hide it nevertheless. Now with question if Lauren is hungry. Was she? This questioned resonated in her mind for a second before she's finally decided to speak up. "I am a bit hungry... Any restaurant is more than welcome unless it's Gallic one or if orchestra is present. Does it work or should I make note to myself about bringing my own food next time we decide to meet somewhere?" Lauren had to grin, at this point she was past her irritation and tried to tease Enma a little to ease the tense situation in the bay.

RE: The Omicron Lights - Loyola - 05-28-2020

Loyola binks and nods, looking back at ceremonial guard that she now has to command again. Taking a deep breath, she tries to make her voice sound as firm and confident as possible.

— At ease!

Taking a minimal possible pause between commands, she now starts liking it.

— Fall out! Dismissed!

Loyola then turns back to Lauren, she then makes a short step to the side, aiming her body to one of the exits from the hangar. That's most obvious not a verbal invitation to come with her. That's some very basic body language being used, suddenly making their meeting to look so cozy and simple right after a mini ceremony with the inexperienced orchestra.

— Ah, so you want NOT a gallic restaurant. Well, naturally we have a lot of local dishes. I know one place with Kusari food, but for the rest, we will have to look up. What do you think?

La'Row felt a good relieve of stress when Loyola's orchestra stopped and walked away, out of her sight. She started walking beside Loyola toward the exit with light steps while listening to Loyola's speech and advices. Lauren was surprised about Corsica having different kind of national restaurants, but she hoped a suprise would come in decision of restaurant, obviously it hasn't. I thought you know this place well, Enma. Or are you just playing games with me, waiting for my decision or just simply leaving it as it is and hoping we will bump into some restaurant sooner or later?" Lauren just raised her left eyebrow.

RE: The Omicron Lights - Loyola - 06-01-2020

En looked down into the ground for a few long moments. Outcast is not the mood or condition to bite back, so she would just apparently let Lauren be this way. Loyola sighs, closing her eyes for a moment and touching her own forehead. Looks like Outcast is not really able to keep the confident and strong appearance that she keeps for public all the time. She hoped that La'Row won't be the one to take advantage over her melting and breaking down.

— I, am, I'm sorry. No games, I just usually order food right to my office and don't walk around too much.

Exit from this hangar would actually led them to something that looks more like a street of some underground city rather than a space station. While most of the station is functioning like shipyard, Outcasts have seemed to build this section to feel like home, whenever it was possible, at least. Enma then turned back to Lauren, her face is expressing apology as she was bumped by someone from behind, being pushed a little closer to the Gaul.

— Pardon me. So did you decide?

That question was supposed to sound demanding, but it was the opposite, sounding fairly weak.

I guess we could try some Hispanic restaurant this time, haven't even heard of it. Does it even exist?"
La'Row said with neutral tone, however her eyes went straight after the person which bumped Enma closer to Loyola. Lauren didn't like this kind of careless attitude and she was always ready to beat some aggressive guys down for being careless or aggressive jerks to people. Her eyes were still locked at the guy, but she kept walking like if nothing had happened. However she liked how Corsica looked inside, well it was much better than the militaristic ennvironment she's spent years in due to long war and now being one of the gallic exiles. Taking a deep breath she finally calmed herself down."I've been in Omicrons. With Charente," She said carefully, scanning her surroundings for people she wouldn't like at all.

RE: The Omicron Lights - Loyola - 06-07-2020

— Sure there is. Some still cook recipes from the Sol, really ancient things. Most stuff is new and kind of interesting. It may be too spicy, but you can order it with less spice if your tongue is sensitive.

She then halts herself at the moment where she's about to start some short lecture and would just take Charlotte by the hand to guide her. Feeling like it would be less effort, especially considering this place is unusually crowded today. Enma was leading her to the most elite restaurant around here, Plaza Azul. And indeed, as they entered the more elitist part of the station, crowds have disappeared and only not many rich and self-important people are to be seen at some distance. Rather on pure instinct, Loyola looked around as well the moment Charente is mentioned.

— I hope everything went well?... We are almost there by the way.

Loyola barely whispered.

"Bring it on, I am curious how bad it can really be. I bet I will like it."
Lauren stopped walking as well, carefully observing surrounding and environment of the section for wealthy and powerful individuals in Maltese society. It's something she was used to in Hebrides, as everyone refers to her as Duchess, the highest non royal noble title you can get. She looked at Enma and gave her a slight nod before she entered Plaza Azul, carefully looking for the free table, out of the reach of public ears. "The light was shining and pleased with outcome. Even if it was very close to darkness in the rivers." Lauren liked cryptic riddle talks, even if it was obvious for these two "individuals". At this moment she was waiting for Enma's decision. Where to sit, what to order.
