Bounty Hunter Gunboat - =RedDwarf= - 05-26-2020
I would like to purchase a Bounty Hunter Gunboat but I am now not able to find one. I remember seeing one somewhere? Or maybe I just read about them although this seems unlikely seeing as I was in the German systems where this ship is meant to be available. It is meant to be sold on Manitoba Station in Hudson system but that station is not in the list on the nav map, like many. I have looked in that system and the one station does not show it as being available.
Can anyone shed some light on this please? I have money burning a hole in my pocket and I want that ship. lol

Manitoba sells the gunship and not the gunboat, assuming you want the Orca, the one with the FWG, you'll need to go to Sheffield station in Manchester, it's the most straightforward place to buy one and you can put yourself there using the bounty hunter restart if I remember correctly.

What is FWG? Sheffield station has the Gunship and not the Gunboat. That was where I had planned to purchase the Gunship before I changed my mind.
What system is Manitoba in? It does not show in the Nav map stations/planets etc. I have checked Hudson and it is not in there unless I somehow missed it. I have looked twice.
After doing more reading I am beginning to doubt whether getting the BH gunboat is a good idea. I like the high armour and energy even on transports that can be very helpful if you do not move around much. With the right choice of weapons I can usually defeat small fighters using a freighter.
Maybe I should ask for recommendations. I want something with large amounts of armour which I will boost with an armour upgrade and high amounts of power. When you have fought using a Hedemon and got used to using them, small and fast does not appeal.
The BH Gunboat with 136,000 armour, power 60,000/600,000 appeals. I would like something similar. BTW the BH Gunboat is a damn ugly ship.

I have found FLStat and I am having a look through what is available. Maybe that will narrow it down a bit and then I can check any that look appealing.
However recommendations based upon what I am looking for would be very helpful.

I assume the mentioned FWG supposed to mean the Forward Gun, so most probably there is no misunderstanding. As you just successfully found, I would not suggest the FLStat again, however kindly note, you can find all necessary information in it.

Recomendations depends on what you want to do with ship.
