Bonjour Mesdames et Messieurs,

I am Amelie Élise Bellerose, Comte de Villers-Bretonneux and Directeur of the Amiens Office, Picardy regional branch of the OCI. In light of the ever-fluctuating situation of Sirius, and the potential effects for the Confederacy, the Amiens Office's Groupe des opérations externes is undertaking a reconnaissance mission to investigate the current state of the major flashpoints that may concern the Confederacy.

The Trans-Zurich Corridor:
Thanks to the strong work of the Marine Nationale's forces, Zurich is safe and secure for transit. Unfortunately, as Opération Hellweg discovered, Cologne is currently in the grip of the fanatic terrorists known as Red Hessians. The midsystem checkpoint, Tholey station, is under hessian control and hinders all safe lane travel through the system. The Battleship Kassel, a capital vessel with Red Hessian IFF and markings, is stationed within supporting distance of the station and would need to be neutralized for any potential future cleansing of the station. Further down the lanes lies Wuppertal Refinery, which is heavily damaged and seems to be currently occupied by Junkers who proved to be just as hostile as the fanatic Hessians.

Amelie frowns, a visible expression of her annoyance with the muddled quagmire that is Rheinland.

Rheinland
Rheinland is an utter mess. Outwardly, it appears that the Imperial faction has complete control of the New Berlin and Hamburg systems, functional control of the Omega-7 system and contests the systems of Stuttgart and Frankfurt. The accuracy of our observations regarding some systems may not be 100% accurate due to the obscurcissement of the affiliations of some military vessels and government stations witnessed.

Stuttgart
The Battleship Altenburg is stationed approximately 10k relative south of Planet Stuttgart, presumably to provide protection against Hessian raids for both the planet itself as well as a Synth foods supply station. Freiburg Station and Ulm Border Station both seem to have declared for the Imperial faction as well.

New Berlin
The core of the Imperial faction's territory. New Berlin contains important infrastructure such as the main shipyard and manufacturing hub that is Oder Shipyard and The Ring. There were two battleships either under construction, repair or refit in the docks, including the Battleship Westfalen, and may perhaps be a sign of increasing ship production for the Imperial war effort. The Battleship Strasburg, as well as the Wildau police station, provide defense against Red Hessian incursions from the Dresden system.

Hamburg
Hamburg appears to be another bastion of the Imperial faction, centered on Alster Shipyard. The shipyardis very developed, with several bays large enough to construct large capital ships within, but currently seems to handle all production of trade and mining vessels required by imperial corporations and the open market. Altona Station sits by Planet Hamburg, though it's current purpose is unknown. The Carrier Soltau currently guards the only trade lane passage to Liberty, through the Hudson system.
