I'm contacting you regarding my interest in the Exeter system and its current situation. In my absence from active duty I've heard that the defences of Exeter were compromised and that not only had a station been destroyed but even that the Enclave had managed to worm their way into the system to have their fair share in the chaos. The station I speak of is Isca Fortress. After taking part in the dismantling of Vostok Production Facility as part of your forces I had the liberty of observing the visual state of Exeter and came to the conclusion that a station in orbit could help both the industry and recruitment/assimilation efforts of Bretonia to stabilise the system, but of course that's when I found something similar had been attempted and failed. So to circle around to why I'm contacting you. I wish to ask your summery of the situation in the system and personally offer my loyalty in securing the system with the proposal of a possible future installation of our own to aid in industrialising the system.

Excuse the formality, I'm used to serving under your father. I look forward to working with the Halls again.

Captain Lance,

I would be pleased to have you and give you instructions concerning the situation. However, have you checked with the fleet admiral whether he would approve of this change of posting?

Captain Lance,

The situation is stable. The Ark Royal fleet has to cover the system from Poole, and cover Poole too, but the Coalition has been weakened by their attack on the Stirling and by the Corsairs in Omega-47, which also weakened the Corsairs. Although I am not certain whether the Corsair battleship Athos, which is now in Dublin, has the ability to move or its engines are too damaged, I am certain that they possess no capacity for an offensive even if they moved to or through Exeter, so I had rater not deal with them and instead I would encourage them to move on and exact vengeance on the Coalition carrier Alvin Katz in Omega-47. This could be to the detriment of Dublin, because I trust that the Athos is what is keeping the Mollies too busy to commit any notable forces for an attack on Graves, but Dublin is not our jurisdiction, it is Fleet Admiral Redmond's.

The Red Hessians have not been seen for months and it probably has something to do with their offensive on Cologne. The gate construction is proceeding as planned and the system should be pacified within the next several months. The Zoners have not been making any trouble lately, probably thanks to the treaties I have made with them.

The planet currently has a small garrison and benefits from some protection provided by Grand Vista station in its orbit, which belongs to the Core. You and your ship are welcome to join the garrison. Try not to head into the Dartmoor Cloud too often. There is an SIS project going on there and I had rather it remains secret.

PS: And I do not mind formality. No less is expected from a professional serviceman.
