For some reason or anothe, my tractor beam doesn't allways pull in items. The beam gets deployed, but nothing is pulled in. Any ideas?

Wow that is weired no idea..By the way check that your cargo is not full..if it is full then you cant tractor beam....

Could happen due to red/yellow lag. It happens to me during those situations. Other then that are you moving while trying? If so it could be that you end up getting out of range

I know that I'm not out of range...
I just tried to tractor in some goods and i sat there for at least a minute and nothing happened. This is really odd...
I also have atleast 3k cargo space left. The funny thing is that my tractor beam works on other chars.
Any new suggestions? If it matters, I'm flying a Border World Transport with a zoner ID and IFF.
Edit: And changing my ID does not help...

What goods are you trying to tractor? The only thing I can think of is anti-cheat related.

Oh, this happened to mesometimes. I tractor something on the move, the beam shows, but it suddenly goes out of range...

Do you have a lot of various types of items? The one time that happened to someone, and it was resolved by lowering the number of things he was carrying (he had a bunch of regular cargo and many, many guns, too).

That may be it. Let me try selling some off these lower level weopons from the wrecks.

But I just sit there and nothing happens with the tractor beam. It just stays deployed. Even with the goods sitting 200 distance away.
Edit: It also has the tendancy to go on and off. I can get it to work sometimes, but it usually defaults to not working after a while.

Now that I think about it... This may have something to do with the rule about only allowed having X amount of non-stackable goods.
Edit: I don't know exactly what it was, but selling some of the weapons did seem to help. (Still not 100% sure if it works, but it does for now)

Fixed the problem, had to sell some of the excess cargo (Still had 3k some odd cargo...).
