Greetings, I contact you today in regards to a recently re-fitted Liberty Naval Osiris-class vessel, the Akhetaten. Allow me to bring you up to date with the series of events that lead to this, while keeping it relatively short. The Akhetaten was an intelligence-gathering vessel that has served Liberty for many years, the number of which is unknown to me, as I joined her crew at 811 and was not part of it before that. The Akhetaten's last assignment was to rally with a Liberty Navy fleet to stop the Carcassonne's approach, at Manchester. The result was catastrophic. The Akhetaten was positioned inside a nebula from which she made the jump to Manchester so as to not be detected by any sensors. What we didn't know is that the fleet we were supposed to rally with was held back. The Gallic fleet - not wanting to waste this opportunity - attacked us and the Akhetaten suffered heavy casualties. The ship was fully disabled, the then-Captain of the ship was killed in action along with most of the crew. Fortunately, rescue teams arrived on the location soon after the massacre and I was lucky enough to be part of the surviving crew members. After spending two years in a coma, of which the doctors could only describe as fortunate considering the state I was in, my first concern was that of the Akhetaten. It had been left derelict in that time. Between then and now I was promoted to Captain, and the responsibility of the vessel fell on me. I have contacted the First and Fifth naval fleets, respectively, to inform them of the intent to return the Akhetaten to active service within the Secondary fleet. Currently, the vessel has already been through requisitions and has been armed and equipped as required. However, there is one more detail that needs to be seen to. This brings me to the Liberty Security Force. The Akhetaten has an aged second generation cloaking device. While operational, it is prone to malfunction frequently. Considering the prototype nature of cloaks at the time, the issue is two-fold with age. I would like to first ask if it is possible for the Liberty Security Force to diagnose the device and, if possible, see if repair is a viable option as opposed to a retrofit. If not, I would then like to ask for your further assistance in replacing the second generation cloak. My second request would be that of a fine tuning of sorts. Undoubtedly the onboard hardware is obsolete, and will likely need updating to be competitive with the current playfield. As groundbreaking as the Osiris technology was at its inception, it's moved out of its infancy by now. I know it seems much to ask, but I would be deeply appreciative for your assistance. Thank you for your time, and I hope to hear from you soon. Christopher Edwards TRANSMISSION TERMINATED

We've been following the growing paper trail you and your ship have been leaving behind as you move to closer to your goal of integration into the Navy once more, so it was somewhat expected that you would approach the Liberty Security Force. We might not have the oldest Osiris-class battleship in our fleet, but it's certainly seen some of the most service time. The Fidelity is currently undergoing a retrofit at Juneau shipyards as we speak, so your timing could not be any more fortuitous. While perhaps not brand new, bleeding edge technology, the Liberty Security Force has a stockpile of hardware and technology that was used for any maintenance and repairs for the Fidelity, of which saw little in terms of actually needing repair, what-with her incredible service record, leaving us with an excess of the previous generations equipment. A large portion of it will no longer be compatible with the Fidelity after its current modernization pass. Without a second ship in need of the materiel, it either becomes a write-off for our finances, or passed to the Navy as surplus for their needs. Considering their Osiris projects are far less active than the Fidelity, and now the Akhetaten, I believe we could come to an agreement on some modernization being performed on your vessel. As I said, it would not be the newest generation of technology, but your ship will certainly be fully operational for combat and surveillance duties. With the stealth technology a generation behind as it is, and an electronic warfare suite that's even older, you'll certainly have to seek alternatives there. As for the Osiris' original built in cloaking module; It's extremely volatile. Able to vanish with hardly a moments notice, it's certainly a powerful tool, but there's a reason modern devices require so long to activate. Reliability. We can give it a look, but with what a few of my engineers have discussed with me, it's very likely it'll just have to be pulled from the guts of the Akhetaten to make room for the modernization and a current generation cloaking device. Of course you know, the man hours and technology being put into your ship is not cheap, but in lieu of any sort of fee, I'm going to be requesting you perform a few favors for the Liberty Security Force, whenever they may be asked of you. We'll have a team of engineers sent over to your drydock on Juneau whenever they're free of other duties. In service to the Republic. Greetings Senior Agent-in-Command 'Siren', It is with great pleasure that I contact you once again to inform you that the engineers you sent over to Juneau have finished their work on the Akhetaten. The Osiris will soon be commencing the final phase of the refit - field tests. After my approval, your engineers also took the decision to replace the Osiris' built in cloaking module with a newer generation cloaking device as reliability should be the top priority in such equipment. The Akhetaten and her crew will always be available for the Liberty Security Force, should we be needed, and for that reason this communications window shall remain online. I appreciate the time and effort you put into the Akhetaten, Senior Agent-in-Command, I wish the best to you and the Liberty Security Force. Captain Christopher Edwards TRANSMISSION TERMINATED
