It will either be fixed with the next rework or sooner, or of course you're welcome to contribute a better alternative. While I wouldn't rule out providing feedback on this in some other thread or forum, I will be ruling out this taking up a slot in the forum for bugs and breaks. I disliked the one before this one, myself.
