Naturally, you are aware of the current status quo of our relations to the Confederacy of Gallia, so we can understand your surprise when reading this message.

This message comes with a clear goal: We want to inform the Board of Directors that the average citizen of Gallia is of no concern to us and that we do not seek to spill civilian blood, unless it is unfortunately unavoidable.

We would ask you and your employees to refrain from hostile actions against the forces of the Empire of Kusari. Naval Forces Pilots will only attack corporate vessels in self-defense or when they will be found in breach of the soon to be announced embargo. On the note of this, Gallic corporations do not have to fear a total break-down of their profit, I suppose. In case you were wondering why Ile-de-France Shipping was not included, we investigate unconfirmed reports of their participation in direct engagements with our forces.

Furthermore, normal corporate stations in the path of our forces will be given the offer to evacuate peacefully. Should such a peaceful solution fail, the Naval Forces will attempt to force through a non-lethal vacating of the stations in question. Should this second non-violent approach lead to no results, well, you can guess. We have tried then.

On the topic of the lost Cheronsee Outpost, we would like to announce that 165 of the 170 crew members were taken as prisoners, 5 crewman unfortunately did not survive the precision shot at the command module. It is most unfortunate that Gallic citizens had to let their life, the situation around Cheronsee did not permit a total non-lethal approach. In regards of this, we urge you to listen to our words, neither side wishes to repeat this.
All staff members were taken to Planet Kyushu, the wounded were treated and are recovering. We would inquiry about their safe return to Gallia, they have been separated from their families long enough.

Bonjour monsieur.

While the current state of affairs between the Gallia and Kusari is regrettable, I appreciate your wish avoid causing more civilian causalities.

The people of Gallia have suffered for long enough due to the machinations of the politicians and military leaders that claim to love this great nation, but in reality they cling to their incubated idea of Gallia. They care little for the people they seek power over. I hope Kusari is not the same in this regard, and this communication suggests you just might not be.

I thank you for your considerations of the people of Gallia, and EFL will do what it can to ensure that the local populations are not put into harms way. I will stress that should you take aggressive action against the civilian populations, then you are no better than the people you seek justice against. And EFL will do what it must to protect the people of Gallia.

Bonjour,

I am sorry in taking time in responding to your communication, but I have be consoling the Families of the personnel that were present on Cheronsee Outpost at the time of your attack.

We at GMS are not worried about the loss of profits, but are worried about the Personnel that are presently missing.

For the sake of all the Mothers, Fathers, Husbands, Wives, Brothers, Sisters and Children, we politely request that you send us, at the earliest opportunity, the names of the survivors. This will help reassure those Families.

As for returning the Personnel, we have a Liner on standby to retrieve them. If you could let me know the when and where, I will arrange for the Liner to meet your Forces.

We would also request the bodies of the dead to be returned to us, so that the relevant Families can say their goodbyes.

We are Miners and Traders, so I can assure you that we will not involve ourselves in the conflict between our two Nations. That is what the Navies are for. But be assured, we will defend ourselves if attacked.
