Mesdames et Messieurs

I am Officier Supérieur of the Ile de France Shipping - Emilien Bouvet. If I'm not mistaken this is the first communication between you and our company. I suggest that our further communication should be exchanged in this channel.

Now for the business. Under direct orders from Directeur Général of IDF - Madame Pomeroy, my ship was dispatched to bring some of the supplies to Aquitaine. Namely, my ship's cargo hold was loaded with 4.0001 units of Promethene and 9252 units of fresh Food Rations. This cargo was delivered directly to Issodun Shipyard.

This is but the test run as we didn't want to raise any suspicion by the traitors. As time goes by, Ile de France Shipping will be able to begin much larger deliveries of commodities that you deem necessary, be that Food, Ammo, Fuel, Medication.

I wish to also say that we stand by you, and that we're under your service.

For the KING!

Monsieur Bouvet,

I'm Commandant Adelaide Gauthier. On behalf of the Enclave, allow me to express our gratitude for your loyalty. Remaining true to your duty despite the circumstances is admirable, and is something I can relate to. Your shipment has been received. But as it hasn't been announced in advance, I have no idea whether the compensation offered by the dock master at Issoudun at the time was appropriate. Let me know, and perhaps we could work out an arrangement for future shipments.

Medication, fuel, ammo, and food (probably in that order) are important, and will be welcome. But there are things that could be useful for the Enclave even more.
  • Any equipment for automation. Developing a colony requires a lot of human effort. So, the more tasks we can delegate to machines and robots while freeing up human resources, the better.

  • Any people looking for a fresh start in the Gallic Hebrides. This might be tricky and dangerous, so I suggest we postpone it until we figure out a way to do it discreetly. But if we manage to do it, it will be most appreciated.

Naturally, we can arrange compensation, especially if the dock masters don't have the clearance to make appropriate payouts. Details are up in the air. I presume that at first we would require time-verified proofs of origin and destination of the cargo. Eventually, we may commission a modular installation to accept your shipments.

Your service will be rewarded now and remembered in the coming Kingdom.

Commandant Gauthier

It is our pleasure to be of service and oui, we are still and forever will be, loyal to the Crown. I do apologize for the unannounced shipment, Commandant, but we didn't want to risk the message getting intercepted by anyone. Our team is working on encryption improvement as we speak, which hopefully won't take too long. The dock master that was operating that day on Issoudun haven't had any complaints. In fact, after a detailed check, the dock master was pleased that the goods were in perfect shape. As for the compensation, consider this shipment as a small gift from Madame Pomeroy.

Onto the next topic. Food and medication will be easiest to acquire. Fuel and ammo a bit more difficult, but I'm sure Madame Pomeroy will be able to pull a few strings. I'm also positive that IDF will be able to provide a sizeable amount of Robocultivars which will definitely be helpful in decreasing the workforce needed for manual tasks.

Regarding people that still might be or are still loyal to the Crown, but are scattered around Gallia, well... it will be difficult. This matter I'll leave to our Officier de Sécurité, Monsieur Kylian Chappelle.

Given the fact that IDF deals with only with shipments, if the Crown decides to construct a modular installation then we'd be more than happy to provide our shipping services. Naturally, your engineers will deal with the construction as that is not our field of expertise.

Last but not least Commandant, would be the list. It is the easiest way for us to operate. You simply make a list of the commodities that you wish to acquire and IDF will review it and notify you of the price.

Madame Pomeroy sends her regards.

For the KING!

The Marshalcy of Gallia

Identité: Amélie Chevalier, Greffière en Chef
Destinataire: Emilien Bouvet, Ile-de-France Shipping

Monsieur Bouvet,

On behalf of the Marshalcy, I would like to echo Commandant Gauthier's sentiments – we have a deep appreciation for IDF's dedication to the crown in these divided times. I shall ensure that station security at our major installations expects your deliveries so that you need not utilize such stealth in our sovereign territory.

In addition to the items requested by Commandant Gauthier we would ask that you bring shipments of ship or station parts where it is opportune to do so. Our supply chains are still developing and it can be difficult to acquire the appropriate replacements for certain pieces of equipment at times.

In return we would offer that if we have patrols available to spare for such purposes, you may contact us via encrypted communications to request escort. Our fleet maintains squadrons of ships from within the cracks of Gallia proper who may be able to assist you, but their secrecy is of critical importance to the health of the Enclave.

Warmest regards,

Amélie Chevalier
Marshalcy of Gallia

Topic: Lift of embargo and supplies.

Je vous salue.

In light of the invasion of Kusari Naval Forces into the Gallic homeworlds, the command of Royalist Forces and the National Navy of Confederacy has reached a number of agreements. Ceasefire in Languedoc and de-facto lift of embargo to the Hebrides by the National Navy. Naturally, agreements are kept in secret from Republicans. IDF now would have much less risk of bringing up supplies and could do it in much greater amounts. Fleets located at the Hebrides are in static defense and would need additional supplied to increase operational readiness and start decisive operations against our enemies.

Tau-44 corridor to Roussilon should still be open, as La Riche stands on guard. We also have a mobile strike group at Provence that would be able to assist your logistic ships if they get into trouble.

We would also ask you to consider contacting EFL in terms of supplying our fleets. We could do it on our own, but I expect that they would trust you better than they would trust us. I know during the wartime, main materials will go for Confederate Defense Force, but we could use any support we could get. Even old and second-hand parts and machinery will do. EFL's expertise in many areas and the overall abilities of the company are very promising. Naturally, we do not expect any support from GMS, but work with EFL is something that we see in the realm of possibilities.

The operational readiness of our fleets is something that can turn the tied in many conflicts and benefit Gallia greatly in the long run. We count on you and potentially on your EFL partners.

Prévôt Dior

I haven't had the pleasure of meeting you, my name is Sophie Pomeroy, Directeur Général of the King's most faithful company - Ile de France Shipping. Having yet another member of the Marshalcy contact us is indeed a huge honor.

In April I had one of my associates bring a shipment of fuel and food over to Issodun Shipyard. After bringing the said shipment our company got contacted by Commandant of Escadron XXII - Adelaide Gauthier and Greffière en Chef - Amélie Chevalier. Both of them requested pretty much the same thing, from equipment for automation and ship parts to "man power" - people that are looking for a fresh start in the Gallic Hebrides which was quite difficult to pull off. To be perfectly honest, providing a steady flow of good to Aquitaine and Roussillon is a challenging task, not the shipping itself but avoiding attention.

The surprise attack of Kusari Naval Froces was something we didn't anticipate. In this attack IDF lost La Charite Spaceport in Tau-53, luckily without any casualties. I've personally contacted the Reformed Empire of Kusari demanding answers for their occupation of our base. The statement that I have received was and I quote: "The occupation of La Charite was chosen as the mildest and most non-lethal option of securing our operations. The station suffered minimal damage and can easily be pushed into its former role once the Naval Forces operation concluded."

In order to protect my employees and my station I had to agree that IDF Shipping will refrain from using hostile actions against Kusari Forces. I hope you can put yourself in my shoes and understand that this was the only logical step could have taken. This also opens a window for us to increase the number of shipments going to Aquitaine and Roussillon. This opportunity must be seized as both Kusari and the Republic will be heavily distracted, plus this de facto lift of embargo you speak of will certainly come in handy.

EFL S.P.A. has proven to be extremely cooperative and I strongly believe, despite what happened to Gallia recently, that I will be able to get through them and convince them that helping us will be a good thing for Gallia. You're right when you say that EFL will prioritize the needs of the Confederacy, but something is better than nothing I'd say.

As for the Gallic Metal Service, I think we both know that having them side with the Enclave is going to be impossible to say the least. Their stance towards the Kingdom is far from positive.

I will notify you when the shipments arrive, until then.
For the King!

You are one of the most reasonable people I've had the honor to talk to, mademoiselle Pomeroy. Indeed I can understand the steps you have taken in order to negotiate with Kusarians and save your own people from imprisonment, or worse. I have held negotiations with Kusarians, they sounded worried at the very least and want to keep us out of this war. When I wanted to discuss the conditions, they would not reply.

With their current attitude, it will be a matter of time before we enter the war against Sirian invaders. I really hope that we will be able to get our forces ready as soon as possible, with new abilities for supplies coming along, we would like to ask you to bring some more supplies. We request the following good being shipped on the Enclave base of your choice. Our internal logistics will solve it later.

Armaments 4900
Munitions 4900
Lasers 4900
Promethene 4900
Hull panels 4900
Engine components 4900

We will be waiting for a response from your EFL friends.

Prévôt Dior

Thank you for your kind words. I'm also grateful for the Crown's understanding, negotiating with angry Kusarians is something I wasn't eager in doing, but alas, it has been done. Luckily my employees are safe despite La Charite's occupation.

I got in contact with Madame Véronique Baudelaire of the EFL S.P.A. She is a pleasant woman and might I add very smart. Like me, she's very protective of her property and employees.

Due to a new order that The Assembly has given, EFL will be increasing their ship production, repairs and whatnot. Even though the trade embargo has been lifted as you say, we would prefer if this operation was kept quiet, a secret if you will, far away from the Republic's eyes.

I've decided that the best place for us to bring supplies would be Rodez Outpost in Roussillon. Normally, I would expect for EFL to have a clear passage to and from Roussillon, I'm sure your dock masters can figure something out. As for my transports, they'll soon begin shipping the requested materials.

Before I can confirm anything I must give an answer to Madame Baudelaire's question. She would like to know if the Crown is "holding grudges" against EFL? Unlike GMS, EFL has been supporting the Crown for so long and now, in these difficult times, they're once again proving their determination and always present loyalty to the Crown. Once that question is answered I have no doubt that the EFL is going to provide the necessary materials.

That would be all for now. I eagerly await your response.

Sender: Commandant Antonin de Lusignan, Gallic Royal Enclave
Recipient: Ile-de-France Shipping
Subject: The order for resources from Gallia

Je souhaite une belle journée à cette chère Madame Pomeroy et au reste de l'IDF Shipping.

I am Antonin de Lusignan, Commandant to the Gallic Royal Enclave. The grim times that have come to Gallia are not allowing us to have a long conversation, I am afraid. Thus, I hope you shall forgive me if we skip the further introduction and cut right to the chase.

I believe it is not a secret for you that Kusari's attempt to commit a blitzkrieg seems, unfortunately, quite successful. The Confederal fleet has proven itself weak and unskilled but still, they are trying to set a good face on a bad game. In the case of the kusarian further advance into Gallic space, we, the Enclave, must be ready to interfere in this conflict and wipe the threat out, protecting our people from both the foreign invaders and incapable fools from the Confederal Navy.

Nevertheless, the primary reason for this message is not to encourage you but to order the recourses from Gallia. As a brief introduction and for your eyes only: right now our engineers are repairing one of the old but still worthful Charlemagne-class warships and we need some resources directly from Gallia to finish the repairs in time. We, for sure, could hire independent haulers with a favourable stance toward the Enclave but I personally prefer skilled and loyal people to do this. Such people as yours, for example, are in this category.

The list of recourses, including numbers and prices for deliveries, are attached to this message. Should you be interested in additional discussion or negotiations - we may do it but I would prefer to waste less time for purposeless talks. We already have wasted enough time while our house is in danger.

We are faithfully waiting for your response.

    List of recources:

    • Ablative Armor Plating (5.000 m³) - $5000/m³;

    • Ship Hull Panels (or Hull Segments) (10.000 m³) - $5000/m³;

    • Ultralloy (20.000 m³) - $2000/m³.

Commandant Lusignan

Pleasure to meet you. I - Sophie Pomeroy, am happy to hear from yet another Commandant of our King's Royal Navy. It is true what you say, these grim times prevent us from engaging in deeper conversations so let's get down to business immediately.

The surprise attack from Kusari Naval Forces was indeed successful, but regardless, I do not expect them to last for long and with King's Navy taking part in this war, Kusari Forces are deemed to fail. My company and I shall do whatever is in our power to help eliminate this threat that is Kusari, their attack and occupation of La Charite Spaceport in Tau-53 will have consequences to their so called Empire.

Having said that, Ile-de-France Shipping has agreed not to take hostile actions against Kusari Forces in order to save its employees. Lives of my employees are very valuable to me and reaching this agreement with Kusari was something I had to do. Now, IDF will help Gallic Forces with whatever they need. In your case - supplies necessary for the repairs of your warship.

It comes without saying Commandant, that everything you say here is between you and me. These materials you've ordered won't be difficult to acquire, but might be tricky to deliver. Hopefully you could provide additional support in terms of escorts as our convoy will most likely be taking a passage through the Montpellier Debris Field. If you can, then the best place for your escorts to meet our convoy would be at the Brittany jump hole in Languedoc.

As for the price, I can do nothing but agree as they are perfectly reasonable. If there's anything else besides materials that IDF can provide, do let me know.

Until then.
