Combat Event
OVERVIEW
Under the guise of wanting to bring stability and order into the Tau region, the Kusari Naval Forces amassed forces on the border with Confederacy of Gallia without raising too much suspicion. Strategically positioning the Akatsuki, Hamamatsu, Hyono, Matsumoto, Nagasaki in positions to quickly advance into the corridors between the Kusari State and Gallia to seize vital Gallic frontier outposts before their distress calls could be received at home.
Once the frontier stations fell, the Kusari Naval Forces continued their advance into Gallia proper. Striking at the defending fleets with the element of surprise on their side. The Gallic forces are scrambling to defend from an unexpected attack, although with the momentum from the initial thrust it is unclear how far the Kusari advance will press into Gallia.
The local Confederal Defence Forces have organised tactical operations to slow down the advance, with hopes to stop it entirely.

- $10m bounty rewards have been added for Confederal Defense Forces, Gallic Gendermerie, Unione Corse and OCI IDs on Kempetai and Kusari Naval Forces players in Languedoc and Lorraine,
- $10m bounty rewards have been added for Kempetai and Kusari Naval Forces IDs on Confederal Defence Forces, Gallic Gendermerie, Unione Corse and OCI players in Languedoc and Lorraine.

Thursday 2nd July - Sunday 12th July (Potentially Extendable)
Rule changes:
- For the duration of the event, both Languedoc and Lorraine will be contested systems with a 30 minute death counter instead of 1 hour.

NOTES
This event is to simulate the beginning conflicts of the war between Gallia and Kusari.

I understand corporations not being involved in this (not really cause kusari nuked a GMS station in Tau-23), but why are the Brigands and Maquis not a part of this?
Edit: I ask while not having either of these ships in my roster, I don't know how active Charo's GB faction is, but they're based specifically in languedoc, so it's kind of silly that having a base in this system, neither the GB or Maquis would get involved.

Kusari isn't invading the Brigands or the Maquis. Brigands and Maquis aren't front-line combatants between Kusarian and Gallic fleets in the blitz, hence they are not included in the event.
Nothing stops them from participating in fights, but the event is focused on the conflict between militaries & militia, not the fight between third parties/pirates.
