Subject: Repairs on OS&C|Reverie

Greetings Commandant Howler!

I heared from Director Seabourne your offer to help with the damaged Liner Reverie. I apologise for being a bit sceptic at first, considering the way she received the damage. But I would not be in my position if I would allow blind prejudice be my guide. Not every junker is the same, Sub-Director Cross being the prime example in this and she is a very good friend of mine. Thus your offer in helping and repairing Reverie is invigorating and I am looking forward to discuss the terms. I invite you to take a look at Reverie and estimate the time and your costs for bringing her at least up to its former glory if not a bit better.
Reverie has been realed in from Omega-7 to Freeport 1 by the Zoners of Freeport 1, thus I would suggest we meet there. When I saw how she looked like, I nearly blacked out again. I will tell you more details when we meet, because I want to take you up on you offer for a glass of whiskey. I can say that much: it is a miracle she was not disassambled on the spot.

Best regards,
Cpt. Theobald Franklin

Greetings Captain,

I was hoping that I would hear from you soon, though I understand why you may have had reservations
due to the recent incident.

It's a good thing the Zoners have already helped towing the Reverie,
that will save time, as my crew and I could get straight to work.
That is, of course, after we discuss the details with a nice Whiskey.
I expect to arrive at Freeport 1 soon, I have my crew planning our journey now.

There isn't much a Junker can't fix, but if I run into any issues,
I know just the guy who'd be able help.
That said, I haven't once come across something I couldn't make work better than when it was new.
Of course, I look for the same in my crew members.
Although, when you say it's a miracle there's anything left of her...
I can already imagine what state she's in.
Perhaps I'll give one of our best, if not the best of our technicians, Rob a shout just to be sure we can get her space-worthy
and looking brand new again for you, as quickly and cheaply as possible.
He's a wizard with these things....

But I digress,
We are departing the Bering system shortly,
and expect to be with you faster than a Xeno turns tail and runs when something actually shoots back.

Cheers,
- Ian Howler

Greetings Commandant Howler!

What you say makes good hearing. Every time I look at Reverie, it gives me a sting to see her in that state. But it is soothing to know that there is a chance she will be up and cruising between the stars again.

Not a short time ago Captain Cross brought a gift for Reverie, which I am sure your Technician Rob will be able to make good use on her.

I have lodgings here on Freeport 1 for the time. Just send a direct message when you arrive, I doubt that I will travel far from the station within the next days. I look forward to meeting you personally, and especially to that glass of Whiskey of yours.

Best regards,
Cpt. Theobald Franklin

Subject: Reminder of Party Time

Greetings Ian!

I just wanted to remind you, that tonight is Reverie's big party. I expect you and Ross to be there, since without you and your team she wouldn't exist anymore.

And of course everything is free of charge for you.

Best regards,

Theobald,

I must apologize for being unable to attend, though I deeply wish I had been able to.
I'm currently in Medical. A powercore I was repairing went critical and I'm afraid that the radiation burns I suffered have grounded me temporarily.
I couldn't pilot or command a vessel if my life depended on it at the moment.

I do hope that the 'Reverie' is treating you well, and that the engines are performing as they should.
May good luck and fortune follow you wherever your travels take you.

With good will,
- Ian Howler
