can't log out in space properly (not docked) - brrrun - 07-15-2020
Hey guys
When i log out in space, i get the "this is taking too long" message for quite a few minutes, and then i cant log back in because the server won't show up. What' wrong?

Try docking before logging out.

You're not supposed to be logging out in space. When you do so, it kicks you from the server and you will be unable to log back in for about 90 seconds.
When you do choose to log out in space, ensure there is nobody else around or you could end up getting hit with a sanction for

You can log out in space when noone's around you, just make sure you aren't doing it to avoid interactions
But there's a 1.5minute period on before you can log back on your IP where you drop shields, drift, and can't log any other characters that's there to discourage people logging off in the middle of interactions

I see. I understang the part about avoiding interaction and totally agree with it. I just wanted to mine for myself since miners arent always around
i guess the ejected ore will disappear when i relog tho..

Yes they will
you need to use Player Owned Bases - either fill them yourself with ores and then log a trader
or find ones stocked
